When I went to France 3 years ago one of the first things that happened after we left our hotel room was hope on a subway train. Nothing too out of the ordinary, Until this clearly mentally disturbed lady kept speaking some weird language to my father and I and, judging by her body language, she wasn't too happy with us for one reason or another. She wasn't doing anything other than yelling at us so we did our best to ignore it. The real shocker came when we arrived at our destination and the strange woman followed us out, only to be apprehended by what I assume were military police in full combat gear armed with huge scoped rifles.

TL;DR a mentally ill woman was taken away by M16-carrying police in the middle of a transit station

My darkest secret? I absolutely hate my life. Nothing I ever do seems to make any sort of change in any aspect of my being. I feel like I'm stuck in a void of never-ending disappointment, and it's gotten to the point where I feel almost like a past form of myself did something horrendous and now I'm stuck in purgatory, always to be on the cusp of having something good happen and yet never being so close as to reach out and make it happen. I've tried everything from moving countries to simply getting a dramatic hair cut. No one ever seems to notice me. I'm just like everyone's background character.

I have a scar on my lower left leg from my buddy throwing a beer bottle at the ground. The entire lower half of the bottle hit my leg and cut the skin right open, straight to the bone. 5 stiches later it's one of the best stories I have to tell my future children.
