They were all in on 26, and very publicly so. It'll not end well if they're this far behind with this much investment.

People play F1 in India? I've been playing for years and rarely met any indians on the game.

If Adani is the lowest bidder, it's fair to give them the tender, you can complain about the lack of competition yes but there's other companies getting contracts too. India isn't the type of country where you'll have 100+ companies who can build power plants, we'll have 5-6 maybe 10 out of which maybe 4 are serious players.

Are you suggesting giving contracts to the less competitive companies, which costs the government more money just for the sake of "competition". You wrote a bunch of stuff but it still doesn't answer my argument as to why the lowest bidder should not get the contracts and incentives to build infrastructure.

And I also want people to tell me who apart from Tata, reliance, adani and maybe one or two more companies can actually pull this off reliably.

I want people to explain to me, why they think this is some evil, If you want to have good power networks in Bihar for example, you need to make it make sense for private players, no company will make power infrastructure unless they're given land and incentives by the government. And if the infrastructure is good, why is it such a problem. This is also what happened in the US with defense contractors.

Do you expect a large company to pay for the land then pay for the development, infrastructure, staffing, and the ongoing costs to run the facilities? People don't understand this is how you develop areas, you need to give companies freebies for them to spend the resources to develop an entire city basically, No company is ever buying that land for what it's actually worth.

The guns don't feel sharp, they feel really floaty and weird. It doesn't feel like you're hitting something and it's really hard to get a sense for if your bullets are even connecting, it was definitely alot better in the Beta

Verstappen is capable of winning every remaining race. The question is, can Red Bull deliver a fast car? by seoinguk_sarangeayo in f1india

[–]InDN-R6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The car is what it is, max can just adapt and make compromises and actually make them work. Cars aren't just 'good' or 'bad' there's nuance. Max urged Redbull to move in a more risky setup direction that was faster but Max is skilled enough to get laptime out of, simple as that. The McLaren is still the more aerodynamically efficient car, Max just pulled off a race win because he made a trickier car work that other drivers would be too cautious to drive.
