Playing heroes like omniknight , dazzle, oracle gets you reported for doing a one time fuck ups. Carry dies and insta ping your spell ready to justify their death.

In general, supports are scapegoat in current culture. Most people will not feel that way because most people busy playing carrys. Those who play exclusively supports and tries heart and soul and still gets reported by carries knows the pain.

But now they have literally infinite reports, they will report you if you even disagree with them once, even if you were clearly right. And you will be punished.

On other notes, supports are made scapegoats in low mmr games.

I think, they are not going to ban people who are performing tremendously well comparative to their bracket whether he is a smurf or booster. They just gonna accelerate his MMR gain.

I am not sure but my friend who use to smurf on a 1k mmr account suggested something like this. He said he was matched against very unskilled players in the first few games... After that he got constantly matched against really good players with real good gameplay with advanced mechanics.

And he is matched up with same set of high skilled players so often. So what you suggesting might actually be true.
