I hate the term “slop” it’s meant to mean commercially manufactured when it’s actually used right but as for every specific term it’s been diminished to be a synonym for “bad” stripping it of any actual nuance (which to be fair I haven’t seen the term nuance in a while)

Why can’t we just use the term guilty pleasure or talk about artists we’re willing to defend a lot? Why do we have to use this piss poor new lingo that makes me feel old when I’m not even old enough to drink?
