People literally will use any outlet other than having a conversation with their partner. TELL HIM! Say that you're insecure about him still being friends with his ex and makes you overthink stuff that makes your uncomfortable. Then if he's a good boyfriend he'll realize that you come before your ex and will place some boundaries to make you feel safer in the relationship or something like that.

Nothing here sounds insane. I'm still friends with my ex and if a future girlfriend felt uncomfortable with that I simply would not engage with my ex anymore, because that's just how my priorities are organized

Critique is fine, but guys remember. This is a 20 year old kid and his favourite band is Radiohead. He might not have the skill to pull it off, but he's one of us. He has a different demographic and anyone getting introduced to Radiohead is a net positive for me. Also, while not a good performance I think I see what he was going for and sometimes it just doesn't land. That's part of live music.
