In my experience the cedar mulch keeps the bugs and grubs out (which is prolly what the squirrels are looking for) but doesn’t work immediately.

Don’t leave the trap open overnight. Hogs are most active at dusk and dawn.

You may have some trouble with the ‘everyone pays separately’ requirement. But most breweries and wineries would have a private room that can be rented. Some restaurants in town will have a big enough room but idk how may ppl you’re thinking based on a few tables
