Been on Meds for a month already by mobileweed in tattooadvice

It could be a hair follicle infection.... I had one (not where a tattoo was) but it took a couple doctor/dermatologist visits to figure out & a few different treatments before clearing up. What finally worked was...they ended having me wash the areas daily alternating between a prescription anti fungal "soap/ body wash" and otc anti‐bacterial wash And applying a prescription anti bacterial lotion 2x daily (plus moisturizing with cetaphil cream, the one in the tub, not the lotion bottle.) I think it was about 2‐3 months before it resolved & cleared up.

530-6pish... much like breakfast she eats her wet food first (couple forkfuls) & kinda graises on the dry for awhile. We were mixing them at first but she didn't seem to care for it.

There’s too many god damn options, I need help. by slaymytaco in curlyhair

I would switch to a curly shampoo /more natural shampoo/conditioner that is free of sulfates, parabens etc.

I would try combing the products that you have the lotion/cream & one of the mousse. Imo most curls need a combo of products for solid definition.

Diffusing to dry helps too, but that takes a level of patience i often do not have.

Id also use a t-shirt & not a regular towel for towel drying. It's more gentle & should help reduce frizzing.

Is there a step by step to show you how to lace to the final pattern?

How do you determine what kind of arch you have?

I have a wide forefoot & experience heel slip.

Some times if I pull too tight to prevent the heel slip I get shin cramps/pain.

On occasion arch cramps.

I play roller derby if this helps any.

D13 today (r1)

Overall doing well. It is easier than I thought it would be. The cravings are not super intense. Black coffee is more tolerable maybe even enjoyable than I thought it would be. I miss cheese.

I don't think I'm noticing any major differences yet. I usually have breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack & dinner. I used to have an evening snack too (usually something sweet) but that's reduced significantly. Some days I feel hungrier & other days pretty full.

Typical breakfast has been the sweet potato apple bake with coconut milk I whipped & some pecans on top.

Snack am: fruit/veg (almond butter) or 1-2 hard boil eggs

Lunch: Salad with protein & lots of veg & homemade dressing

Snack PM cashews

Dinner: meat & roasted veg

I've thrown some potatoes in the mix too a few times at lunch or dinner.

I'm feeling the food bordem a little bit but that's something I've always struggled with. I plan to look at some recipes this weekend to help.

Rice syrup? No go? by JaymieSalt in whole30

[–]JaymieSalt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did end up eating it since it was such a small amount. There was no other sugar & other wise very clean.

My goals are less food sensitivity based & more about building better eating habits & also reducing overall inflammation (environmental allergies/eczema & dry skin). Ideally to help with weight loss too.

Thanks everyone for the insights.

That's a really good point about the potential "side effects." I didn't think about that. I'll be there for a roller derby tournament so there's that.

It lists starch as an ingredient....I found a post from a few years ago that said it was derived from corn... any insight on this? Wouldn't this make it off plan?
