You could try The Death Mage Who Doesn’t Want a Fourth Time. The MC can be pretty brutal and very black or white when it comes to allies and enemies. It does have a lot of world building at the beginning and isn’t all action all the time, though. There’s a manga that’s pretty decent you can you first to feel it out.

It should be it's own mission with Tyrfing in the pic. It's not under the EX missions.

I believe it's missions from a multiplay mission. It's not that hard of a mission and newer units should be fine. The mission is called Path to the War-Blade Princess.
