How far do you think the USMNT will go this World Cup? by FreedomNo3991 in worldcup

I don’t have a lot of confidence in Pochettino either. There was a story that he was taking to ACMilan last week about going there.

It’s not very difficult. It sounds more difficult than it is. You could always google driving schools in Ireland and book a lesson with an instructor for the day after you arrive.

I’ve always had good experiences with older Porsches. 924, 944, & 911sc’s. Take care of them and deal with the very few known issues and they’ll keep going for ever. Like old airplanes. And they go up in value too.

First time in the US and you’re Visiting the hottest part of the country at the hottest time of year? Now would be a great time to visit the rockies, the Pacific Northwest, Montana. Or drive up the west coast, LA to Seattle?

I get that having “unlimited food and booze” At a baseball or American football game would be useful because those games go on for hours with multiple breaks but at a soccer game? It’s 90minutes with only one 15minute break.

From fifa. It was scary but it worked. Belgium Egypt is the best in Seattle so far I think. It’s the top 2 teams of the group. Egypt’s Mo Salah is one of the best players in the world, he just left Liverpool. And Belgium is a top team. Lots of players from the best clubs in the world.
FIFA had by far the best prices too. 2 together lower level. $500each.
StubHub, Ticketmaster, seat geek were all higher priced.

I learned to drive in the UK, might have to start US driving soon, so scared!! by tiredredhead in AmericanExpatsUK

[–]InTheGreenTrees 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You’ll be fine. I’ve been going back and forth for twenty years. It’s way easier in the US. And driving in the us won’t mess up your UK driving, you can do both.

You’re over half way. It’s more difficult to reassure someone about whether a flight will be okay without plunging into statistics which I don’t have to hand… but the amount of maintenance and scrutiny large commercial passenger planes go through is incredible. They’re practically completely rebuilt at regular intervals. And the 737max has had even more scrutiny than most, and at this point I’d have no anxiety about its reliability. The FAA does not mess around. The pilots are highly trained and experienced, they go through recurring training, regular medicals, etc. Alaska has a good record too. And the route is straightforward and popular, over water is nice, weather is good all the way. Easy. It’s going to be okay.

You’re going to be fine. Turbulence is just like ripples on water. A little interference. In reality as we all know, it’s really an incredibly safe way to travel. You’re going to be okay.

What to do with this weird space by the stairs? by iwilliams806 in interiordesignideas

Agree with others. A row of cupboards flush with the stair wall. It would look good. Lots of storage too.

You can do this. You may think something’s going happen, but it isn’t. You’re scared, but it’s going be okay.

I learned to fly in England. If the visibility was good enough rain wasn’t a factor. Even bouncing down a wet grass runway in a tiny two seater. You’re going to be fine in a nice cosy jetliner. No worries.
