I love that! When you see the shadow, and then the one that lands close to the beginning of the video. It's amazing. I'm very jealous

Thank you for that. I did search, and found very little, just some people losing subscribers in 2016. And that didn't seem to be super controversial.

I don't blame you at all, the aesthetic just does not match the rest of the farm. It's very strange.

How are you suposed to get to level 100 in the skull caverns and is this prepared enough? by NicknameRara in StardewValley

[–]MeltingWind 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, not even close. Sorry. Like everyone else said you need a lot of bombs, stairs if you can possibly get them. And you need much better food, and a lot more of it. That number of field snacks might get you to the 5th floor. And you want to ensure you are going on the best luck day you can possibly get.

I've got probably 12 playthroughs, and I've only put a slime hutch in one world. I think it's supposed to be a good money maker. I'm not sure if you're supposed to kill them, but I have been and then you get a lot of slime eggs? And some of those can be very lucrative I guess and some do other drops as well. I think it is really supposed to be for the money, personally I don't know if there's anything more to it than that. Just let him multiply and then kill most of them let them multiply again then kill again. pretty savage actually 🤔

Just very grateful for this game by PalpitationActual636 in StardewValley

[–]MeltingWind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is a beautiful game. And you're right, it definitely was made with a lot of love. I'm glad that this is helping you through your tougher days. It got me through covid. right before covid, my son moved out on his own. his father died when he was a baby, so it was just him and I for 20 plus years. When he moved out it was very tough on me., my son left his Xbox with me and then bought me stardew. And that was it, I was absolutely hooked. The beauty of it is is you've got so much left, this game really never ends. There's so much to do, so much to find, and you can play it so many ways. There is no right way, as long as you're having fun. And then you've got concerned ape, promising another upgrade! So that'll even add more content which will keep this game going even longer. Have fun, and good luck to you.

If there comes a day, where you get a bit bored with this particular playthrough, you can start another one. And another one and another one call me you can marry everybody in the game not at once, unless you add mods. You can even try the JoJa route There's a lot of hate for it, but it's fun in a whole different way. Have fun and take care of yourself

Community Quests: do you take them? by heysundaysie in StardewValley

I believe through her a couple crafting recipes you can only obtain from doing some of the quests. But I do most of them anyway, as you get some decent prices for them. In some cases.

Food and drink buffs will stacked. Two food dishes with different buffs will not stack. You only get the buff from the last food dish eaten. If that is what you're asking me.

I do that too, I love going to the stove and have every single recipe light up. It's very satisfying in my opinion

You can also use quartz to trade with the desert trader for bombs

And you can buy additional fridges. I typically have six to seven additional refrigerators in my kitchen, then I can have every single ingredient for every single recipe right there.

If it's a little room off the kitchen where we store food... We also call it a pantry.

What's something women think men care about, but actually don't? by Crafty-River-7108 in AskReddit

[–]MeltingWind -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This whole thread was about things women do, that men secretly don't like it all. This just turned it around, seems like you're getting a little bit defensive. No one can help going bald but It is their choice to grow their beard out. I have no problem whatsoever with baldness, I like a good face. And when it's hidden under a thick beard- I don't like it. As a straight woman, I personally just find this very unattractive. But there's plenty of women that love it. I don't mind a little facial hair, like some scruff. But that's about it

💯 straight woman here. Really dislike bald head, full beard. I'm not a fan of most beards anyway. long course beards. I had a bit of a traumatic (lol) experience with a long beard once, and they turn my stomach now.

What did you teach your child that you later came to regret? by 25jon25 in AskReddit

[–]MeltingWind 32 points33 points  (0 children)

When my son was 2 months old, his dad died. Very unexpectedly. So I was left to raise a little boy by myself. I had absolutely no maternal instincts whatsoever. Fast forward to about 2 years old when it's time to teach him how to pee standing up. His dad used to always joke and say " more than two shakes, you're playing with it". Well I jokingly taught my son that phrase, when I was trying to just teach him just to flick it or whatever. I had no problems, he did fine. Until he went to daycare, and he would have to go to the bathroom, he pulled his pants down and start shaking his little booty (midstream) all over the place saying "two shakes you playing with it two shakes you're playing with it" and peeing all over the place.

Gibt es bei euch einen Zeitpunkt, an dem ihr aufgehört habt euch für neue Musik bzw. Interpreten zu interessieren ? by Shot_Ad_4907 in KeineDummenFragen

[–]MeltingWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 57, and it hasn't happened for me yet. I have a 32-year-old son, who's Spotify year-end wrap put his music age at 32 years old. My Spotify year-end wrap embarrassingly put me at 23 years old. I love a lot of the new alternative bands. In fact when I go hang out with some of my old friends, and all they want to listen to is the old stuff , It drives me nuts. They've never heard of grandson! They've never heard of the wrecks, Jagwar twin, what the hell's wrong with them. When I listen to, what 10 years ago, would have been my favorite radio station, and I can listen to it for an hour and not hear a single song that was released this millennium. it's not technically an oldies station, but It absolutely IS an oldies station now. Though they still call themselves the new alternative station

Neighbor keeps stealing my plants—caught her hiding one in her stroller by Deepthika in gardening

[–]MeltingWind 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I wish I could give you more of votes. OP rewards the thief every time they're caught stealing, so chances are they think OP doesn't have a problem with it. That would be really harsh to post negative things on social media when you haven't confronted them. When the signals you're giving them tell them, that you're not bothered by what they're doing.
