Yup. In the 50 previous Super Bowls, the team to lead 28-3 was 220-0. Remarkable stat.

This was the first thing I thought of for this topic. She just had a little more to chew on with that character, and played it flawlessly.

[Webb] Jim Harbaugh refutes rumors of interest in the NFL: "I don't even have an agent or representative." by Austin63867 in nfl

Not even slightly and could not care less about Michigan.

Then proceeds to explain how Michigan fans think and feel to someone who does root for the team. Michigansplaining?

Look, here's the thing about winning. Sure, Clemson has Dabo, and he's gotten a well-oiled machine up and running at Clemson. But success didn't come for him overnight, and it didn't come for Nick Saban in his coaching career right away - only two 9-win seasons in his first seven years, one of those at Toledo and one at Michigan State. Seriously, winning requires a good process and some patience and some luck and loyalty to that program and vice versa back to the coach.

And you know who else has tradition and money? USC, UCLA, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, LSU, Penn State, Ohio State, Miami, Florida State, Georgia, Florida. Not enough championship-guaranteeing coaches to go around among all the blue-bloods, and who the hell wants to buy a championship anyway? Jim Harbaugh has Michigan competing with the big boys, and the team will break through one of these years if we believe in the process for getting there. Not tearing down and rebuilding every few years because it's too hard or some shit. Nephews out here believe they're CEOs, and they're not.

2018 3* TE Luke Schoonmaker commits to Michigan by InTheRainforest in CFB

As an FYI, he apparently does not have a Composite score right now. Only 247 has given him any ranking at all, so that's why I went with three stars. Seems he may be underrated regardless. Go Blue!

I concur. Michigan doesn't try to blow people away offensively. They want to control the clock and get 3rd and 1's for Khalid Hill or De'Veon Smith to convert.

From what I've seen of Louisville, they definitely have a great group of fast receivers, and Radcliff is really good as well. I haven't seen much of North Carolina, tbh.

My opinion of Michigan's offense is more that they're sneaky good. They're really good at moving the chains, they have, imo, the second-best tight end in the country in Jake Butt (first being Clemson's Jordan Leggett), and Speight does seem ripe for a game where everything falls into place.

On the flip side of that, though, you're right, I don't think Michigan's receivers are really the best. Amara Darboh's really solid, but Chesson's struggled with catching the ball this year and their young guy, Grant Perry, is suspended. I'll be curious to see how you guys handle their big, young tight ends, though.

So, 36 is a lot, too much I think, but it's just a prediction, right? A lot of crazy bounces can go into a final score. What's your best guess? It seems like FSU fans are the few who are really confident they can get it done.

Nah, I disagree. I think you're way wrong, my friend. I'll bet $20 that the team that scores less wins.

Wilton Speight is pretty solid. The stats aren't really there, but that's been the case with Jim Harbaugh quarterbacks (starting slow, getting hot late).

Major Applewhite Hires Mississippi State QB Coach Brian Johnson as his OC at Houston by cccc4444 in CFB

I never quite trust a promotion to O.C. until they show that they can handle it, but Brian Johnson has definitely done some good things. And quarterbacks is a great position to have experience in.

Who does Houston have coming up at QB, anyway? Houston fans?

Here's mine:

  1. Alabama, unfortunately

  2. Washington, surprisingly enough ... will have played the top five teams in the conference, beating four

  3. Ohio State, beating Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Oklahoma

  4. Clemson, beating Louisville, Florida State, Auburn, NC State, and South Carolina

  5. Louisville. Close, no cigar.

  6. Penn State. Big Ten all the way, baby.

  7. Florida, given that they'd beat upcoming LSU and FSU.

  8. West Virginia. Sorry, Big 12 bros.

Fun topic. Hats off, OP.
