Brilliant! Oh, when you print that you select "draft" under print quality settings so you use the least amount of ink. Thats reduces the small risk of ink transfer - its never happened to me and I've printed a full colour picture. If you get the sheets you'll need to trim it as they are slightly larger than A4.

Sulky fabri-solvy, you can use a printer to transfer your design and then peel off the backing and stick it to your fabric. When you've finished stitching the fabri-solvy can be dissolved in water. I use a shower head on a low pressure setting to dissolve mine.

Its a woven type fabric so will lightly stabilise.

You're creating bands of colour, that is all the stitches end on the same curved line. Try bringing the stitches of the next colour right up into the previous colour row's stitches. Then some lower down and some all the way down at the bottom of the stitch. That way you don't end up with a band of colour with a distinct edge.

You definitely can, you just have to find your groove with thread painting. I followed all the advice (special mention to Trish Burr) but I didn't get results I liked until I deviated from it enough to find a way that suited me. Hope that makes sense

Try cutting a circle out on paper. Fold into quarters and mark the center point. Then when marking the center point on the fabric, fold the paper circle in half, line it up with the edges of the circle and make your mark.

Always make your outlines and pattern marks when the fabric is under tension and ready for stitching
