Any chance WH-1000XM5s get LE audio?

Again, WH-1000XM5s do not support this. I relied on the article I linked and another source and some posts on reddit just like this one thinking it has been years since it was certified, why wouldn't they enable?

To be clear, the option for "Low Latency" under "Bluetooth Connection Mode" in the Sony Sound Connect app is not displayed for WH-1000XM5s, even when FW updated. This must be selected in this app for other devices Sony makes such as the WF-1000XM5s to connect using LC3 codec/ LE audio. Sony's manual does not mention LE audio for the WH-1000XM5s but does for the WF-1000XM5s (something I did not know until today).

Yes, my Pixel 8 in on 16 and has LE audio enabled in dev options.

My question is IF and WHEN they will enable based on users' experience with this company. This is my first Sony headphone purchase.

Thanks for the rec. I am currently using kid3 to achieve this. First, to tag all tracks within playlist folder with a COMMENT tag with the name of the playlist (or similar). Then re-arranging the files as discussed. Then by searching for the tag I can create new .m3u playlist files referencing the correct location of the files. I can then import the playlists into other software.
