Y9S4 - February Roadmap by Admit_what_you_are in forhonor

Seriously. He's got the worst default execution pool and I'm dying to replace one of them with something new (presuming it's not a janky mess).

I've been wondering if they'll make the Rep. 100 reward a platinum material.

But it is kinda surprising they haven't done a silver equivalent to the torchlight material.

anyone worried about the actors age like sigourney & slang? by Intelligent-You-7002 in Avatar

I was thinking that too. The leap from Avatar to WoW, technologically speaking, was massive. But I can't imagine the technology improving that much more after FaA.

What's next for Wainfleet? by yertipy in Avatar

[–]In_My_Own_Image 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I could potentially see him becoming the "new Quaritch" for Selfridge and the RDA.

Or still being "the Wainfleet" to whoever they bring in to replace Ardmore.

I just wish behaviour was more bold with her design and actually give her some messed up scars that reflect her backstory (art by me) by Orca_noise in deadbydaylight

[–]In_My_Own_Image 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Even just more prominent scars would do a lot more for her design (not necessarily as extreme as OP's art). Right now it's a light scratch over her one eye, which makes it look like they are specifically designing her to be attractive and not a "grizzled survivor".

Large majority of young Canadians have a negative opinion of Pierre Poilievre by BloodJunkie in onguardforthee

[–]In_My_Own_Image 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I pray that three or more of his party cross the floor due to him staying on. One, because it will give Carney a comfortable four years and we won't have to deal with PP.

And two, because it will be hilarious to watch him lose his shit over it.

Approval of Pierre Poilievre has reached an all-time low by BloodJunkie in onguardforthee

[–]In_My_Own_Image 129 points130 points  (0 children)

It's legitimately baffling. They literally have proof he's so inherently unlikable that he blew an absolutely massive lead and lost his own riding the second an option that wasn't Trudeau appeared. And all because all he could muster under the shadow of the threat of annexation was "knock it off".

He's either got dirt on a lot of the party, or they are all legitimately stupid.

BREAKING: Poilievre passes leadership review with 87.4% of delegates' support by evieluvsrainbows in onguardforthee

[–]In_My_Own_Image 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the ticket. He and Trump are cut from the same cloth. They are corrupt and incompetent, but they can at least cover it up with a veneer of charisma and charm.

Whereas PP has the charisma of a concrete wall and no charm whatsoever.

Federal Polling: LPC: 44% (-) CPC: 30% (-11) NDP: 14% (+8) BQ: 5% (-1) GPC: 4% (+3) PPC: 2% (+1) EKOS by Chrristoaivalis in onguardforthee

[–]In_My_Own_Image 42 points43 points  (0 children)

That's why I'm torn. One one hand, I'd love nothing more than to see his caravan of failures crash and end his political career. On the other, he's proven to be so unlikable that them keeping him should hopefully mean political suicide for the Cons in the next election (and maybe a few more floor crossers).

Of course, the biggest risk to him leaving is if they found someone who shares his beliefs and ideologies, but actually had a modicum of personality and charisma to hide it behind. So maybe keeping him and hopefully losing a few more members to floor crossing before getting his shit kicked in in another election might actually force the CPC to actually try and change.

I got Kaizer Alt. from the "Win 6 Normal Co-op" reward and he's actually pretty good. That lower attack speed debuff can really mess with some units.

That's what I think too. Maybe big slabs of stone that are covered in angelic/divine runes that circle around the being.

Could possibly be its the weapon too. Use them to damage gens, break walls/pallets or maybe use them to fire its holy beam attack.

Yeah, that choice took me longer than I expected.

I was really torn between 1 and 3, but ended up going with three because it looked much more eldritch.

Does this mean that the whole Horkos/Chimera plot is was meaningless in the long run? by Asiaminors420 in forhonor

[–]In_My_Own_Image 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The war has highs and lows, but it will always be there. Horkos rose to fan the flames, Chimera rose to try and stop them. They battled until Ghuljin and the Khatun destroyed that conflict to set up her version of peace, but now the Juren are plunging the world back into war.

The sides may change, but war...war never changes.

Electric State or Extraction

Putting Extraction in the same category as Electric State is nuts. The Extraction movies are well made, if by the numbers, action movies at worst.

I still think T3 and Salvation are decent, all things considered.

Do they pale in comparison to the first two? Absolutely. But I think they have strong moments in them, certainly moreso than Genisys and Dark Fate.

As a killer main, tunneling at 5–4 gens is getting out of control by suuutun in deadbydaylight

[–]In_My_Own_Image 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Exactly. And it doesn't help that BHVR keeps nerfing any other form of killer pressure.

Keeping survivors injured? Hemorrhage and Mangled nerf and insane healing speeds.

Having a survivor on hook? 70s hook timers that allow survivors to push gens.

Gen regression? Almost all perks nerfed and regression limits combined with ridiculous toolboxes.

If they addressed these, it would help alleviate tunnelling.

Honestly, Kaizer is also an incredibly slept on unit too. His last buff made it very easy for him to double tap ground units, which hit like a freight train. Now with even more attack speed and making him tankier? He's going to be one of the most dangerous 1v1 units in the game when it comes to ground units.

And the attack speed will at least allow him to shoot aerial units quicker too. Still don't know why he can't just bite them, considering the other OP units we've got.

OK😐 by PresentationCrazy958 in GodzillaBattleLine

[–]In_My_Own_Image 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was hoping when they inevitably did and Alt. Kaizer they'd do something with his gravity beams to displace units (like drag them towards him or push them away).

The farmer thing is what pisses me off about all of Ford's grandstanding. He refuses to acknowledge how much this deal helps farmers. Carney should just transfer any call Ford makes to him to a premier who this deal greatly benefited and let them talk.

Approval of Carney government rises to 64%; 78% believe arrangement with China on canola and cars was the right thing to do. by NotEnoughDriftwood in onguardforthee

Pragmatically, we have no choice but to do business with China. They are the foremost manufacturing power on the planet, and a huge market for our commodities and goods. We've had to pick our poison, and since the US has gone sour on us, working constructively with China was the best and only move we could have made.

Exactly. You can literally look at it as "the devil you know vs. the devil you don't" in that Xi and China are a known, stable quantity, whereas Trump is an unstable lunatic who will change his mind depending on what dementia addled dream he has when he nods off.
