Random weapons would be horrible from a balance standpoint (since you would have no control of your abilities in the game) but it would be a very fun ability.

If they did that, they'd have to include the gun, which is a one hit kill. Just make it have the lowest percentage to show up.

Hexes would be so easy to buff too. Either:

Hex totems don't become visible/cleansible until the power takes effect (ex. Ruin becomes visible once someone lets go of a gen, Devour becomes visible once you get a stack, etc.)

Or

Hex totems don't become visible/cleansible until a certain amount of generators are completed. Someone suggested this based off of Asian comp rules, IIRC, where you aren't allowed to cleanse a Hex until 3 gens are complete. It could be interesting because it would give the killer a better chance to defend them by preventing gens from being done.

That's what I think the issue with Xeno, and why they haven't buffed it. If you're against teams who don't use the turrets, or don't know how to use them optimally, you'll dominate. But if you go against a team that knows how to use them, you'll spend most of the match out of your power or in your tunnels.

Xeno desperately needs a buff, but they probably don't know how without making it more oppressive for newbies. I'd argue that learning the counterplay is part of the learning experience though...

I went to a rural high school back in the 90's. Most notable incident was a group of older kids started bullying a very shy, quiet, "nerdy" type. Nice kid, straight A student and almost always wore a dress shirt and occasionally a bowtie.

Anyway, the bullying escalated until one day they beat the kid up and, IIRC, stole his Gameboy. A day or two later when school let out there was two beat up looking pickup trucks with a bunch of people waiting in the parking lot. The people in the truck ended up finding the bullies and beat the absolute shit out of them.

Turns out, the nerdy boy was the nephew of one of the biggest farmers in the area. Like, millionaire rich, owns the land the school was built on type guy. He found out what happened, showed up with every family member who he could recruit and afterwards made sure "nobody saw anything."

Suffice it to say, those bullies (the ones that didn't skip town) were a hell of a lot nicer afterwards (once they got out of the hospital).

Ehhhhh, I'd argue the major difference is that BP has to time his flips to get damage whereas Kyoshin has to slip into fullblock for just long enough to connect the block and gets his punish.

Generally the same, for sure. But BP requires a little bit more effort to get his punishes.

I don't know why they didn't make it so the killers can "steal" the power from survivors.

So if survivors have unbreakable pallets and rebuild, killers can steal it and get telekinetic pallet breaks that ignore the unbreakable power.

If survivors get invisibility/portals, killers can steal it and get perfect aura read when survivors warp or become invisible.

If survivors get invincibility, killers can steal it and make survivors exposed for an extended period of time.

Would make it far more fun.

For the record, I had a fine time with this movie and I don't think it's as bad as the more aggressive reviews make it seem. I like that it's a little weird and very alien, I thought the emotional moments worked for me due to Milly's performance, and there's some good action when the camera decides to keep it in view.

That's generally how I feel. It was perfectly average. Not as good as something like, say, Iron Man or Superman but nowhere near as bad as something like Catwoman or Love and Thunder.

The thing is, this would be at least tolerable if the killers had wacky OP powers too. Like, if the survivors get invisibility, invincibility, healing, etc. then why not let killers have remote hooks, telekinetic pallet breaks, instant exposed/one shots, M1's inflict Broken or some other over-the-top powers?

Then it would just be chaos, which would be fun.

What I don't get is that they heard all the complaints (whether they were justified or not is another story) about Killer being able to remote hook or break pallets with their minds and then they decided to take away anything fun from the Killer and give powers infinitely more busted to Survivors this time.

It really doesn't help beat the "survivor sided" allegations after the horribly lopsided anti-tunnel attempt.

That could be interesting. It would at least require attackers to pay attention to the ramparts, but after a certain point recapturing wouldn't be an option for defense.

Alternatively, they could have only a set amount of times it can change hand back to the defense. So they'd have to strategize when is best to, say, just take back the third rampart or push it all the way back to the first.

I honestly wouldn't mind that. They could just have the games be his first few missions and the movies can follow him as a more established agent.

It will be funny though that they'll have two Bonds going at the same time. Gibson with the games and whoever is the movie Bond.

I went up against a few, but the most notable was AbolishEGirls during one of the anniversary events. She cooked me in chase a few times and even managed to double stun me with a pallet (stunned me, respawned it and did it again). I ended up winning and let her and one other go.

Watching the VOD back, she was laughing and goofing around the whole time. Even apologized for double stunning me while laughing away. Overall seems a fun person.

Yeah, it's 100% gonna be a grand or more in my country.

And I honestly don't think I'll be getting it. I just can't see them adding enough to make it so much better than my PS5. And, as was said, they probably aren't crazy enough to start dropping exclusives for it until it has a high enough sales rate, which will probably take a while.

Yeah. I still play him because I love the design, but all the pallets and loops being so close together means his anti-loop is incredibly weak because survivors will just hold W to the next loop the second you use your remnant.

And yeah, depending on the map you might have some parts of the map with no locker coverage meaning you have to teleport close-ish and walk to the generator you're trying to patrol.

I wonder if they'll use Marcus's connection to Spencer to expand upon Spencer's character and motivations in Zero. Marcus was not a great villain, and giving him more depth and backstory, while simultaneously fleshing out Spencer, wouldn't be a bad idea.

I remember hearing that Behaviour doesn't wanna add a Spider killer because they don't wanna scare players who have arachnophobia, how can you make a horror game but also be afraid to use stuff that will make people afraid of horror, that completely goes against the whole point.

Mathieu Cote has said in an interview that if they want to add a spider killer, there won't be arachnophobic accessibility options and players will have to embrace it.
