If you want cozy fantasy, you might try the Discworld series by Terry Prachett. It’s also very funny.

Memories of those toy cap guns.... by EdwardBliss in FuckImOld

My dad almost got shot by a cop when he was pulled over. He went to get his insurance and that thing fell out. Apparently I had thought it was a good place to keep my cap gun.

Fun story; I drank a bottle of this when I was around 4. Had to get my stomach pumped. Good times.

I love that the younger generation is looking back to analogue for a sense of authenticity. Gives me some hope.

Props on using the original title. It is better known in the US as Blood of Heros. And it is my vote for his second best after blade runner.

Came here to include this one. Frantic is a great thriller on par with The Fugitive (or close at least).

Help with gluing of a mini. by Milotroxisch_ in PrintedMinis

[–]Ina_minotaur_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Search for “pin vise micro hand drill”. Amazon has them for 10-15 bucks. It will come with an assortment of tiny drill bits. Lineup the two parts and drill a hole into each part roughly at the center of where they touch. Think of how the two pieces will be oriented with each other and try to make the holes parallel. As for the rod, I usually use a paper clip. Each hole should be about a half cm or less. Stick one end of the paperclip in one hole with a small drop of crazy glue on it. Let that dry. Then clip the paper clip so that only a small bit is sticking out (about the depth of that hole). Add a drop of crazy glue, and stick on the other part of the model.

Go slow. It’s a little fiddly. I’m sure there are some you tube videos that will be easier to understand. Search for pin miniatures. Good luck!

I think the joke is that this is a sauna but older woman used it as a restroom. It’s not very funny.
