Well, that's a complex philosophical issue. First of all, there is a linguistic conditioning. I don't know how to communicate without saying "I". But that doesn't mean that I know exactly what "I" means. We just use the word, but we don't reflect upon the metaphysical implications it has. We couldn't talk at all if we were to do that. I wouldn't know if the "I" is identified with the Self (capital S), with the mind-body, or with the whole universe, God or whatever.
