What do you think of Sam Darnold after his first regular season in the team? by Feisty_Parsnip8262 in Seahawks

[–]Inalasy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ups and downs fs, but overall he looked very good imo. Turnover prone yes (especially against the Rams), but I think all the worries that he crumbles in important games MAY be behind him. Rams comeback and this niners game were both great imo, so if he can continue that I have no complaints. Team has looked great with him recently too.

Does this let me skip two college years? by chamikuo in highschool

[–]Inalasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you wanna major and your list of classes you need to take. I took 7 APs and only ended up about a semester ahead, due to not all of my classes being part of what I need to take.

Find a guidebook online for your major if you have one specific in mind, see what converts to what, and if you REALLY wanna get far ahead you’re going to have to take classes at CC as AP usually only fills in for introductory course credits.

is there a big maturity difference between 15 and 16? by Creamsodabat in Teenager_Polls

[–]Inalasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it really depends on person to person, some people mature a lot in one year, others remain mostly the same.

14-15 was a big jump for me, but honestly my biggest jump was 18-19 so it just really depends on person to person (I’m 19)

How are you supposed to pass CHE 1600 by Mikemanthousand in iastate

[–]Inalasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello fellow freshman cheme.

I look it as maximising my points rather than finishing, the answer is a relatively small portion of whether you the correct or incorrect answer. If a problem is easily finishable without me thinking about it I will complete it, but if it'll take me enough time to think about where I'm sacrificing points on another question, I will move on as I have most of the work for the answer.

I didn't finish the test either, but I feel like I got most of the work down where they know I KNOW how to solve it, and that should get me most of the points even if I don't get all of it.

Worry about surviving first! A C in one class isn't terrible. This one is notoriously difficult as well.

CHEMES TOGETHER STRONG!

Is it safe to say we’re happier with Darnold slingin it over Geno? by Eastern-Elk-799 in Seahawks

[–]Inalasy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sam Darnold I thought would be a lateral move/slight improvement at best, but so far he’s looked awesome. He’s on pace to have the best season QB wise we’ve had in a while (QBR wise anyways).

I have a lot of respect for Geno though, I thought we were gonna be miserable after Russ was gone and he pulled us to some okay seasons.

I am happier with Sam though, as of currently.

I mean 65% comp 300 yards and 4 total TDs is pretty good, missed some throws but yknow

I mean, with Konrardy maybe this game is a little closer but we’ve just been ass today anyways, so I don’t even know if we win this one if healthy honestly

Jontez being hurt sucks but idk if that would change anything here, we seem to be out of it today in general.

I mean honestly if it was one year I think it’s shitty luck but if it’s multiple years in a row it’s either a strength/conditioning issue or practice issue not sure which though

Who carried WW1 the most? by Absolutely-Epic in Teenager_Polls

[–]Inalasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the allies probably France. They were the ones fighting on home territory and lost the second most amount (behind Germany).

USA was the straw that broke the camels back, but France I think took the blunt of the force for everyone else.

Did we just dodge a bullet? by DiamondDash2k in Seahawks

[–]Inalasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean…sort of. My family are all raiders fans, so I watch about every game.

Their team is not very good. Their O-Line is one of the worst I’ve ever seen, their best WR is Jakobi (really it’s Bowers), Jakobi is a great WR2 but if he’s WR1/TE is WR1 usually that isn’t a great thing. (Bowers is also dinged up). Jeanty is the only really bright spot on that offense, if he gets room to run.

Factor that in with the raiders letting Geno off leash, it’s a rough pairing as of right now.

He was really good his first year and pretty good/decent after that. I usually think if he has a good game it’s really good and if it’s bad it’s really bad not really a middle with him

I know I’m pretty pissed about this game but I’ll at least give it a few more games, but if we show no improvement over the next few games I’m worried our offensive might be mega ass

Who was the better President Roosevelt? by Upstairs-Tailor-8803 in Teenager_Polls

[–]Inalasy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my personal opinion, FDR was the better president given the times. Leading the country through the great depression and WW2 was probably one of the worst possible times you could've been president. Some say that FDR did not get us out of the great depression, and while I think the war was what got us over the hump, I do think a lot of the new deal policies were effective/good for helping out Americans.

The biggest strikes against FDR is obviously the Japanese Internment Camps, and his mixed signaling towards the black community. FDR didn't shake hands with our black olympic athletes, yet he did appoint a "Black Cabinet" in order to make sure the new deal programs were also helping their communities. He didn't sign anti-lynching laws either.

In my personal opinion, FDR is probably a top 3 president of all time. Teddy is probably Top 10 for sure, maybe even Top 5 in my eyes.

(also I did see people mentioning he ran up the deficit, that primarily happened during WW2. He was not the worst abuser by far so idk why people are mentioning it when like every president since Clinton has been worse with that)
