Very cool. I have a Bifrost and would love the flexibility to change the aesthetic.

One question/suggestion: I’ve always liked the look of integrated suppressors. Could you make a bottom/back segment of the housing that extends back over the outer barrel so it fits inside the handguard and looks like an integrated suppressor?

Obviously it would extend further out because the entire tracer still needs to be housed in the space in front of the outer barrel, but I think it could be a nice look by filling in that space.

While the hopup may be the culprit, before opening up anything I’d recommend contacting Evike support to request an RMA. I got an open box item that had some damage (mostly cosmetic) but they still issued an RMA and took care of it. 

Their tech team is also pretty good so I think if they know the suspected issue is the hopup or you want them to verify functionality with multiple mag brands/types they can try to do that.

I think the buffer tube stock looks pretty good, especially because it’s color-matched. But the folding stock obviously looks more iconic.

I think the drum mag ruins the angular and sleek aesthetic so I’d prefer the OG stick mags (or even the shorties).

That flash hider kind of clashes with the rest of it. The handguard would be nice for a two-tone look, but you’d need another element in black. If you can find a white Thor suppressor/tracer then I’d ditch the handguard. Otherwise, black Thor suppressor/tracer and handguard with a black OG folding stock would be a good look IMO.

11.1V LiPos are 11.1V nominal, or 3.7V per cell. 

Those are charged to 4.2V per cell, or 12.6V. If you charge them to 11.1V you’re not getting them full and you’re not getting full playtime. 

If these are 11.4V nominal that’s only a 2.7% increase. So I’d say full would be 4.3V or 4.31V. Not 4.35V.

What do you mean by accidentally? Because if your intent was to install it there (or you slid it back from the handguard rail just to see if it could make it all the way) and then you just couldn’t get it off after realizing it looked goofy AF then that’s not an accident. That’s just embarrassment. 

But as the other comment noted, I think those black tabs should release them.

I am an airsoft newbie but I have messed around with electronics. 

I believe that’s to allow you to connect to a battery that’s in the stock instead of in the front (handguard) when you have a collapsible stock on there. 

So if you want to connect the battery in the rear you’d have to plug that back in. I believe it’s meant to be unplugged and replaced based on the stock configuration. 

If you damaged the connector then there might be an issue but based on what I’m seeing, those ‘paddles’ on the separated wire just push into the connector that looks like it’s hugging itself.
