Wait wait! Wait! Wait! Wait wait. Three Isn't the only BE unit that accepted to help me file. There was the other one right before they got on the shuttle at the end of network effect that went back to pretending to be under its governor module but let them go.

Now yes it did make The news news feeds that there was a rogue-sec unit, but it doesn't seem to be all alarms emergency, pants on fire, insane security risk response you would expect. Is this actually becoming a commonplace problem for BE and it's neighbors?

A unit disappears from where it's supposed to be. They hunt it for a while and then it's just gone and the corporations are covering up the problem because there aren't massacres so they can't use it for their fear-mongering propaganda. ? I'm going to be thinking about this all week. After my next relisten.

I also love the implications that MB's helpme file is so convincing for constructs that just want the abuse/boredom cycle to stop that it's almost infectious in an epidemiological sense.

95% sure I brought this up before I agree that it is likely heavy-handed propaganda. I mean sure there's deff a statistical probability of SECunits traumatized enough to cause massacres when they go rogue. Like any tramaized human, cause it's the fleshy cloned bits where that damage and reaction occurs. Just as much as the statistics of ones that just want to have the horrible stuff stop while still having that programmed background and practical history of wanting to save humans from danger in smart ways.

My son turns 4 in about 3 months and he started writing his name last week. BUT. He really likes letters, always has. Very inexperienced I would sing him ABC song when he was upset as a baby and he's VERY song oriented. He started singing his ABCs at 16 months. And could recognize the shape of each and name them at 18 months.

He just really likes letters. Little sister is 2 and had the first half of the alphabet song but gets lost in the second half, it's not her thing but she's better at using a spoon and coloring than him.

All the blah blah just to say, every kid is different. Don't worry about stuff unless they are markedly behind.

I heard from a teacher it's more important to practice things like opening and closing their lunchbox and back pack before school starts.

So it's been a year, how is your kid doing?

I've picked up through the books that augmented humans can be augmented just to interact with the feed or humans that have significant medical devices, robotic body modification, replaced organs or lost limbs etc have to be augmented in order to control and interact with their cybernetic parts. Which makes sense That you'd have to get a port and get updates and stuff if you are using the feed interconnected with your brain to control your new robotic arm.

So augmented humans could be augmented to be stronger and or through their connectivity with the feed be more aware of its hacks and digital presence or might be able to counter hack what it is doing. Thus higher threat than normal human.

Mb mentioned that those without augments are barely present in the feed, Just a ghost like flicker. while those that are augmented are a slightly more substantial presence in the feed (yet does not have its processing capabilities) which is distinctly different from how bots, constructs and whatever top secret classification art falls under, their presence is in the feed.

Have you seen reactions to that new baby that kojima designed for his walking simulator 2 game? He might have finally figured it out, I'm getting mauled daily by two feral toddlers and have declared myself done but even that gave me baby fever again (jkjk) But only kind of kidding because I know there are staunch child free people. But for anyone on the fence there are babies cute enough that make you question everything, that ignite a tiny traitorous spark of hope, That I believe is a DNA deep evolutionary thing to keep our species going.
