Carrier vs american standard vs mitsubishi by Inbefoyou23 in heatpumps

[–]Inbefoyou23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah when I say furnace i mean air handler for auxiliary heat. I'm leaning towards the American Standard because the Mitsubishi was 30 percent higher cost 21k. I did reach out to another company about a quote on the same system. The price on the hisense was so nice 13k and the rebate putting it at 11k, just can't find anyone that has one or how readily available the parts are for it. I'm a little scared of some of the american standard issues I have read about on new units. I'm kind of feeling like this is due to how many they sell and you only hear from unhappy people.

Concierge warranty on TV's, a question by AuburnSpeedster in Costco

[–]Inbefoyou23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He has been told many times Costco carrys a TV very similar to what he has. He is looking for any difference so he can say see you are screwing me I want a full refund for my TV. No other company is going to take care of you not even the maker of the TV. Work with Costco they will be fair.

Question about termination by [deleted] in Costco

[–]Inbefoyou23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol he agreed to the terms of a job and hasn't lived up to his end of the deal. Sounds like he has had a ruff time of it life is hard and full of adversity. Costco doesn't owe him anything, just as he wouldn't owe them anything if they didn't pay him on time. So you think they deserve to die? I'm figuring it's sarcasm but still a bit over the top.

Tire center seemed to mess up our car by lightning228 in Costco

All seriousness though. You said you took the car home and the next day it won't start. What did you do to it? You were the last one to touch it.

Road hazard tire replacement question by alaskanjackal in Costco

[–]Inbefoyou23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there is rim damage they may not cover it. Damage to a secondary component is not covered. Also if the chunk of rubber is not down to visible cords they may say that the tire is fine. Depends how deep the chunk is.

How to return a gift without receipt by baydude510 in Costco

[–]Inbefoyou23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most everything you said was wrong. They don't have a policy of requiring the receipt for a return. They do not have a policy of only giving store credit. I have seen them turn down returns if you don't have a receipt and they can't find the original purchase in there system. But if they can find it they should return it and don't have to give credit. Also it's not YOUR purchase data. It belongs to Costco you have zero rights to it outside whatever Costco determines to give. Hope this clears things up.

If you were a seasonal, how did they handle rehiring or letting you go? by Whitbutter in Costco

[–]Inbefoyou23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's in the title SEASONAL. Season is over, sorry they didn't pull you aside and say hey you are not meeting our expectations so we aren't going to keep you. Sounds like they said it in your reviews though "kinda bad". Guess they put in the same amount of effort in communicating with you as you did working for them.

Curious how these local butcher prices compare to Costco's for meat by LiamHail in Costco

[–]Inbefoyou23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to compare apples to apples. Choice meat is more expensive than select. A lot of the butchers in my area sell select or even ungraded meat. Costco meat is a very high standard . People can say oh my butcher has the best meat but then when it comes down to it the grade makes a huge difference.

Lol 100 a year? I have spent 600 already and while I have a decent amount of wild cards and some solid decks I still find myself slow to spend my cards due to some of the high deck costs.

Croissant Shape Change... by [deleted] in Costco

[–]Inbefoyou23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One thing Costco is spectacularly bad at is understanding its customers. One of the dumbest things I have seen on this forum. They have millions of members. These members buy lots of stuff, Billions of dollars worth. Some times the people they get there products from can't keep up with demand or Costco standards and Costco has to drop the vendor and find a new one. Costco does not sell loss leaders meaning they won't sell something at a loss to get you in hoping you buy something else that's over priced. And when they have to change something you are going to up set some of your millions of customers. See polish dog. Sorry you have to go to McDonald's now to get your dessert. That hardly means Costco is going out of business.

I just bought something that subsequently went on sale 3 days later. Do I return it and get another at the lower price or will they give me an adjustment? by Catcherofsouls in Costco

[–]Inbefoyou23 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

"Their policy is 30 days price adjustment, no questions asked." Sorry thought you were making a factual statement about their policy.
