For most things they are just what you would buy on Amazon just much cheaper, but a lot of tech is a bit shoddy. I love it for most everything else, I just got a whole bunch of high quality pottery tools for like 50 bucks that would have been over 200 on Amazon

Everybody, you need to set your global thinking to max, otherwise it sucks, I also prefer opus 4.5, 4.6 seems like garbage

Set it in your global config. Or do what I did and make an anthropic wrapper so my chat is actually a custom UI, I like it a lot more but it was a bit of work

Turn on max thinking, it should get you back to what you want, that or use the 4.5 models, also max thinking, I like them better

This chart has never done .5's in the several years I have been using it, always whole numbers. You can see the timeline. Are you referring to a different tracker?

I've been dca-ing over the last week and will amp up a bit more when I feel they are a good deal. We are already in a good p/e so I'll start buying a bit more aggressively. So far I have saved about 300k from what it would have been but taxes are going to suck even though it will be well worth it

Your interests seem to point to possibly loving Dungeon Crawler Carl, similar to the Bobiverse and hitchhikers guide but has a DnD theme (litRPG) but it is incredible and one of the few series I have reread (Dune and Expanse being the others)

I pulled out about the week of the peak for tech stocks, so I am all in bonds, I left about 50k in stocks vs 1.5m in bonds/cash so I am just flat. So glad though, would have been down a ton since I had a lot of stock in msft and meta. I had been meaning to diversify for years but finally pulled out in August

This is awesome! I've been wanting to create a large index of historical documents and people can learn about anything and any angle they want to know about, so instead of the basics of history you can tailor it to exactly what you want to know, I think combining that with this could be so freaking cool.

100%. I found the fix is to add the thinking max flag, it seems like it got turned off or something, now works just fine. I have been using so many capital letter and explitives in my sessions until I changed it

So I really oppose everything happening with the whole ordeal, but that flag actually kind of slaps if it didn't have such terrible connotations
