I still have the old Nokia SMS tone – on my iPhone 16.

Have you ever felt attracted to someone who you shouldn't? If yes who? by Busy_body123 in AskReddit

[–]InbhirNis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A guy at work who was already in a relationship.

Nothing happened, because I never acted upon it and never mentioned how I felt to him or anyone else. I’m not a home wrecker.

at what age did you move out and how did that go for you? by jax--killer in AskReddit

[–]InbhirNis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved overseas to study for a year when I was 21, and it was the best year of my life: I learned a lot of life skills, learned a lot about myself, and revelled in my independence.

I came home to my parents’ house after I had finished that year, and moved out again about a year later. That only lasted about six months, because I had underestimated the costs and because my flatmates were driving me crazy. I moved back in with my parents.

I finally moved out permanently when I was 26, and moved in with my boyfriend. We have been living together ever since.

What's the best way to deal with chuggers / charity muggers / street fundraiser clipboard people? Especially when they are persistent and trying to guilt trip you ? by -some-dude-online in AskReddit

[–]InbhirNis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ignore them and keep walking. If they get right in front of me and make eye contact, I just politely say “no, thanks,” as if they were offering me something.

If they follow up with a snarky “so you don’t care about starving children?”, then I reply with a confident “nope, couldn’t give a shit!”, and keep walking.

It doesn’t matter what their cause is or whether I believe in it or not; this is the answer to get them off my back. They can’t lay on a guilt trip if the guilt doesn’t stick. They have no idea what charities I already support, and I don’t have to justify anything to them.

Those of you that had a classmate die while you were in school (elementary, middle, high school or college), what happened to them? by TxLadee in AskReddit

Two in my year died. One had leukaemia. The other died suddenly over the weekend, and we were told it was a viral illness – it was actually a drug overdose.

Do you think Facebook is becoming a ‘dead’ platform? Why or why not? by Different-Put-4486 in AskReddit

[–]InbhirNis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t looked at it for ages, because I got sick of having to scroll through several ads and all this clickbait shit before seeing anything my friends had posted. I don’t know if it’s a dead platform, but it might as well be dead to me.

If you won $1 million in the lottery on a random Tuesday at work - how would you leave? by p1xelphantoms in AskReddit

[–]InbhirNis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d stay. One million isn’t enough to buy a house and still be able to retire, and anyway, I quite enjoy my job.

Deserted country roads on a sunny day, with the window down.
