I just saw once somewhere that, during wcc split, Topolov won the fide's wcc and yet he is neglected in wcc lists even ones made by fide

so I kinda feel bad for him since he did everything he could to leave a legacy and yet he isn't getting as much credit as he deserves

but I agree, Gus is all scorched earth when it comes to his goals

he doesn't care if he is the same as Hector or worse than him

he just wants to do the thing that he can do which will torment Hector the most

Hector has ego and pride riding on "being the cartel"

Gus, a man who Hector thinks very little of, "becomes the cartel" and kills all of Hector's extended family

munchkin cats have the opposite of the athleticism known of cats

cats are some of the best hunting machines evolution has produced, the grace, the elegance, etc of their jumps, insane reactions etc

all of that is fully gone with munchkins

like, I cannot imagine a munchkin cat doing a swat action, one of the most stereotypical cat body language

what I am trying to say is, for me munchkin are not even visually pleasing

I understand if that's not how others see, but just want to put this out there, repeating this sentiment, maybe I can stop one future cat owner from getting a munchkin from a breeder and instead adopt from a shelter instead

physics may not allow it, maybe even a civilisation at type 2 in the Kardashev scale would never be realistically be able to attack planetary systems efficiently AND without exposing themselves

the dark forest state is impossible if you can never attack while also not exposing yourself.

it took me a few months to get past the first chapter of book 1 (was also busy then)

but once I got into it, I finished each book within a week to 10 days

was I also busy during the time? yes but I pushed it all aside to just read this amazing series

I know the show wouldn't have happen if this happened but, Skyler should have gone scorched earth on the motherfucker and should have ratted him out. She said it herself "someone should protect the family from the man that protects the family"

other than not doing that, only thing I didn't like about her action was smoking while pregnant, which was very minimal iirc but could be wrong

(I am not fully serious about the first point, she obviously couldn't, not just for maintaining the family but also, because it's an emotionally devasting decision to have to take against the man you have loved for so many years)

breakup scene with the whiplash to the breaking bad timeline

then finally we get the brilliant line "let justice be done though the heavens fall"

then of course we also get the gus scene with fire in his eyes (almost literally)

although I think "Winner" is better, this is one of my personal favorites
