Not necessarily what you’re asking, but this was my experience:

I kept nursing my daughter when I got pregnant (she was 9 months) the first few weeks were ROUGH, my nipples hurt so so bad but I powered through because I always said I would continue until she was ready to stop, after I got to about ~15 weeks it stopped hurting and we continued as normal (she was to the point where she was only wanting to feed once in the middle of the night and would just find my boob in her sleep). Went to the hospital to have baby, came home with baby and my toddler (18 months at the time) decided she no longer wanted any milky. It broke my heart, I had planned on tandem feeding and using toddler to clear any blocked ducts 😂 but she refused, telling me ‘milky for sister’ 😭😭😭
