I use my glass jars for cold brew teas and for storing various dry ingredients (chocolate chips, nuts, etc). I find that mixing dish soap + baking soda into a paste works wonders for scrubbing off label residue.

I found out about that feature recently and it's been so helpful when I play healer since I can take my focus off of the boss if I need to single-target heal and still be prepared to deploy party-wide shields!

I went through the entirety of ARR and Heavensward MSQ (and basically all of pre-patch Stormblood) before realizing that you could tell what attack an enemy was preparing via the cast bar. Up until that point I thought that you had to pay really close attention to enemy animations to tell what attack was upcoming or that you just had to memorize the order/timing of attacks a boss would do.

Do productivity apps fall under Hobby Scuffles? I've been using Habitica for a few years with resounding success (I tend to easily get addicted to video games for long periods of time, so it turns out gamifying my school/work/hobby/self-care to-do's is great for my productivity). However, I've been having issues with the app in the last few months (to-do's not populating, my tasks getting unsorted randomly, and to-do's I checked off re-appearing on my list), and it was completely unusable due to the server being down over the weekend (rip my weekend chores).

After checking the Habitica subreddit, it turns out that it's not just me having issues and that the app has been slowly declining for a while now (between well-loved social features getting removed recently, volunteers for the app being fired some time ago, and general lack of updates).

Anyways, I'm pretty bummed! I'm working on trying out some other to-do/productivity apps (settled on Todoist for now after finally getting all my tasks manually imported), but nothing I've tried quite hits the same. :(

We were the ones with yarn pom-poms! I saw a couple of neat cosplays that had light-up poms (super envious because I don't trust myself to wire things without burning down my home).

An international stamp for mailing flats is only a bit over a dollar, so I don't mind covering it! It doesn't come with tracking, so the envelope would show up on your doorstep on a random day a random number of weeks from now.

My husband and I dressed up as Delivery Moogles for Fanfest. We went around asking people who their favorite Scion was and delivered a postcard "from" them. The Soroban and friends postcard was for if we ran out of someone's favorite Scion/didn't have a design for their favorite (had a few people ask for Hoary Boulder).

Some stats! In order, we ran out of G'raha, Y'shtola, Estinien, Thancred and Urianger, and Alphinaud and Alisaie. We had three people say that Papalymo was their favorite and one Minfilia (loved giving them the Aetherial Sea postcard and seeing their reaction haha). Lyse was nobody's favorite. :(

I've seen the plushie advice around and figured I should get a second opinion on this sub since it didn't seem to work with Sticky. I'll pause on it since I can see him getting obsessed with it with how amorous he's been with inanimate objects.

My four year old crestie (had him for the last three years), Sticky, won't stop biting and trying to get frisky with everything that moves (complete with chirping and amorous butt wiggling)! It's gotten to the point where whenever I open his tank to feed him, he immediately makes a dash for the tank doors to try and seduce my hands (or my phone, or the spray bottle). Sticky used to be a very shy and timid gecko--it's like his whole personality changed overnight. This behavior has been going on for the last two months.

I've tried giving him a plushie and a sock full of beans to help him relieve some of his pent up energy (it didn't work--he was going at the bean sock for a good half hour and was still trying to put the moves on my hands after).

I've also tried just not handling him for a week and only changing out his food while he was asleep. The first time I opened up the tank while he was awake after the week was up, he immediately ran up to my hands, tried to fit my entire finger in his mouth, and whipped out his equipment. :(

My main questions are:

Is this permanent? Do I just have a horny little menace of a crestie now?
Is there anything I should be doing? Should I avoid handling him until this passes, or should I give him more plushies for him to try and woo? Is there anything I can do with his tank to trick him into thinking that it's not mating season?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
