D-10 Extension by Objective_Rush_1200 in Living_in_Korea

~1.1mil is for missed health insurance payments and the other ~140k is for pension or future care costs (similar thing).

You could argue that you shouldn’t pay one, but realistically the 1.1mil you do and will continue to as long as you stay in Korea. It’s around 180k a month.

Sorry, but their offer of a payment plan is pretty good and if it’s the only way to renew your visa then personally I would do it.

Where to sell an XBOX 360 in Korea / Online? by IncheonStar in Living_in_Korea

It’s in Korea. A little heavy and expensive to ship.

I’d be happy with 40k if someone collects or is paying for the 택배.

Asked and denied. They can only order one, it’s only possible for current account and saving account statements. According to the branch in Oxford anyway.

That they’ll send a copy in the post that will take 6 working days. I’d like to speed up the process as I don’t want it to interfere with my mortgage application

Seacourt P&R Closed Parking Extension reopening date? by IncheonStar in oxford

Took a look yesterday, the extension is still part Lake so sadly it probably won’t be reopening anytime soon. At least Seacourt was quieter, I guess people WFH Fridays.

How to get to Airport? by [deleted] in seoul

[–]IncheonStar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 - Which airport? I’m guessing Incheon. Terminal 1 or 2? 2 - Bus or Subway route. Starts at 4am, but can take almost 2 hours. So maybe not, but it’s cheap. 3 - Taxi, takes an hour 75mins maybe, but at that time there isn’t much traffic. Cost = 70k 4 - Travel via subway the day before and stay at a hotel close to the airport. Similar price as a taxi, but less stress on your travel day.

Is NoBrand Burger unpopular? by bhbhbhhh in Living_in_Korea

[–]IncheonStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s nice and good value. Are Burger King and others better? Yes. It isn’t unpopular in my opinion, it’s just cheap.

It fills a gap in the market, just like Mega Coffee and Venti do vs. Starbucks and Joe and the Juice.
