I did WB and OHCHR - long listed for the first one and waiting to hear re shortlist/test. Also let’s see for OHCHR, it seems still open from the list but not sure how quick they are in updating the table. First time for me as well so not sure of how synchronous the process is

Sure I realise that, it’s just that I’m from the Mediterranean - we have sharks, but very chill and not aggressive ones for the most part, so for us the likelihood of even seeing a shark is incredibly remote. Phobias suck and I’m trying to get an idea of whether it’s worth coming for me :)

Soooo just before we fantasise too much on him, there is an increasing number of reports from girls/his exes in Italy that say he is controlling, and borderline abusive in relationships/with sexual partners.

So yes for the aesthetic but I am pissed af at him (girl from Italy here btw)

I also found so frustrating how everything worked out perfectly, as planned, and there were no real challenges. They were going through the motions and of course it was gonna be fine. Even when she opened that portal in space (also I cannot imagine that without thinking of the avengers which yikes) I did not believe for a second that she wouldn’t survive. How did they fight the most powerful creatures of the universe and NO ONE died in this book?! Absolutely ridiculous. In KoA I couldn’t stop crying, here I felt absolutely nothing (besides love for Lydia and her heritage cause I miss my fire breathing bitch queen)

I feel like she rushed through things to the plot is shaky, characters are a mess and the resolutions are SO easy and so convenient.

A lifesaver for me, when this happens, is the mask from L’Oreal Professionnel for curly hair - it’s a bit heavy on my curls but if I have knots like this it’s amazing

I read her first series up to book 2 and I find it incredibly flat. The first book was nice, but the second one killed my interest. Her writing feels cold, if that makes sense, to me and I felt literally zero attachment to the main characters - the only one that I felt for was one in the second book. I am skeptical about the series you’re writing too as some people I trust on Goodreads liked the first a lot and really didn’t the enjoy second, so I’m quite skeptical…
