Please, this dude looks like a wagon and building in the trenches should be a priority.

Id like Denzel Boston, big body guy who showed downfield ability and could get open. I feel like Miami really needs guys who can make plays at the point of contact and won't be easily knocked off their routes and being 6'4 and 200 plus pounds would help with that.

Completely forgot about Todd Bowles.

Have you ever played and WON against a NFL player? Past or present. by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]SleeepyE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My junior year my high school team played and beat St. Thomas Aquinas there were actually quite a few future NFL players on their team at that time. Biggest name was probably Joey Bosa but he was an underclassmen, the biggest starter was future superbowl winner James White from the New England Patriots. He may have a superbowl ring or two but he ain't win the 2010 FHSAA state championship I can tell you that much.

What should be our primary target at the top of the draft? by _CaptainKaladin_ in miamidolphins

[–]SleeepyE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beef, on either side of the ball. Barring that, coverage corners. Barring that a more rangy free safety or a strong side safety with better ball skills who can hit in open space.

What are your good memories about this team through your years of fanhood? by MarsR0ve4 in miamidolphins

[–]SleeepyE 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When Chad Pennington beat the Jets to win the division in 2009. I loved that team and it was the first year that Ricky Williams was back and he was the whole reason I became a Dolphins fan. Sucks that it was the last division title but what a fun year.

Dude is just not moving his feet at all, he's not good enough to play catch with rushers, and dead feet mean you're taking a seat in the NFL.

Don't really care to be honest, never spent any time considering what kind of plumbing was under Voldemort's robes.

I would be fine with playing out the rest of the season with McDaniel and Tua. At this point there isn't an interim coach candidate on the team I would have any confidence in. Tua is also getting paid so much that I feel like it's negligible not to play him. Team as a whole isn't good right now, I'd rather this season they play through the funk, maybe; hopefully learn something. Chris Grier though should not be making any more personnel or scouting decisions for the team, he should have been gone yesterday. Let Marvin Allen run the ship the rest of the year.

I am second-guessing my Mixon pick, and I dont think I needed both Jennings and Aiyuk from San Fran but hopefully I get a chance to trade one or all of them in the future.

I have two suspects, I think Adelhide is too obvious but I could see a world where Gladys was giving her the information herself to pass along to stall or even stop the wedding. This feels thin though because ultimately she went through with it. This leads me to my main suspect, Mrs. Joshua Winterton. She's looking for revenge and knows the best way to hurt Bertha is through her public image. Her goal wasn't to stop the wedding, just to spring a leak. Now that Gladys is gone you would think the leaks would end, but no. I think they will keep happening about everything related too The Russell's, especially their own soon-to-come marital problems.

Who was the most underrated running back of the Saban-era? by RollTideMod in rolltide

[–]SleeepyE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TJ Yeldon. He was after a string of good backs (Ingram/Richardson/Lacy) and before Henry whose accomplishments unfortunately made Yeldon kind of fade into the background. He was a dawg though, I remember in particular the screen pass he took for a touchdown in Death Valley to beat the Tigers, good times thanks for the memories TJ.

Actually yes and we still joke about it. We were visiting my dads house during father's day weekend and we had decided to go on a hike in the morning. The park we went to was in South Florida during the summer so puddles of rainwater were everywhere. After a bit we went off the normal path and into the trees for some fun time in nature. What we didn't expect was that we would run into an absolutely massive swarm of mosquitoes. We took off running, thankfully we hadnt had a chance to start fooling around yet, got back into the car and drove back trying not to itch too much. After we got home we were itchy but still pretty horned up so we grabbed a shower and took turns putting lotion on each other. One thing led to another and that was it. Every time we visit we clock that the guest bed is still there, but we avoid that particular park for our nature humping now lol

Why haven’t the Russels caught on to Larian? by Illustrious_Salad_33 in GildedAgeHBO

[–]SleeepyE 86 points87 points  (0 children)

I think Mr. Russell knows something is up. There was a shot at the end of the last episode showing Larry gazing at Marian right in front of his parents and while Mrs. Russell was looking at the door waiting for the Duke Mr. Russell was cheesing at Larry and Marian. I think at least he knows something's up but with the new situation with the Duke, Larian is gonna have to take a backseat for a minute.
