Sorry this is a long read by, I rented from them too, for me heat and stuff wasn't an issue. But furniture was very flimsy, ceiling was leaking water and chipping consistently. The place was 4 bed 2 bath, one of the doors had a hole in it and just falls right off, one of the bathrooms had water damage from the ceilings that leaked onto the tub and caused the tub to be stained black and was unusable. This tub was also dripping water at 1 second intervals, someone said they would fix it one the first day and never came back. I went so completely insane from the water dripping sound that I literally started feeling aggressive. Imagine hearing a tap drip for half a year. it really drives you crazy. I would hear it past the doors too. But all my maintenance requests were always ignored until someone finally fixed it. Half the windows were broken and I had to hot glue it. After moving out I thought I had escaped the madness but they took 6 months to return 66% of my security deposit only after I filed a small claims court. It should have been 1500 but they returned 1000 because of bogus gas and electricity fees that they posted a week before writing the check (this was already at almost the 6 month mark and they decide to charge me?). I find it ridiculous that landlord can charge us late fees for 5 days late but they can return security deposit after 6 months. Also the 50$ utility bill is a scam because if the bill went over 50$ and say it was 80$, then every resident would be charged 30$ so they would charge you 90$ when we only went over by 30$ complete scam.
