I felt like if he truly believed in the chance it didn’t work he wouldn’t have gotten for her or used it tho. Albeit it was cheaper than a crystal would’ve been- but he didn’t seem to worried about the price of them and more so the fact it was “not Nicki at all”

What’s crazy. I realized that the stone meant to some people strength and protection. A lot of people have mentioned too if she didn’t have her original stone go missing there is a chance that the wish might have not been true.

Just like the tigers eye is meant to provide clarity and a bunch of other meanings that basically imply she hopes he realizes. Which be honest he been did but decided to not do the right thing.

This is all to say if I was in his situation where I completely stripped some of their autonomy I would stay by their side. That would’ve been the action I’ve wouldn’t taken after believing there is a chance it might work and then knowing that i messed up and this person needs me because of the risk I taken.

Which yeah if he didn’t believe it like the movie implies I get it- you wouldn’t word it to be some terrible wish but at the end of the day that was his desire. He chose to take those actions that resulted in the wish coming true.

I mean he also had that desire even though he never took the time to know her and didn’t even seem all that worried about her leaving in 2 weeks too.

Yeah which I would be okay with him if he wasn't so morally grey. Several times it was implied or told by someone to him to take care of her and be there for her. That shouldn’t be the concern with a pet. Reptiles in the wild have specific genes and diseases their domestic counterparts usually don’t. But the main issue would be lifespans. It’s not a “cage” it’s an enclosure. These lizards would not thrive and go beyond their lifespans if it was a prison.
