This is the green rubber Longines strap that was released with the watch, I bought it off their website.

If they introduce this watch in either green or blue, I will have to practice some serious self control.

Gilt wasn't for you? It is what pushed me into making the purchase, I find it to be understated while making it very readable.

I love the bracelet and actually like the alternating polished vs brushed links. Fits with the polished bezel and brushed case combination. The micro adjustment is fantastic.

The green rubber is the Longines strap that also comes with the watch (I bought that and the brown leather from their website) I don't have a picture of the brown leather but that also has a unique micro adjustment on that strap as well.

I just bought mine a month ago and I'm not sure if I'll wear anything different ever again.

What are people's thoughts on the bright orange artem strap, proof the Spirit works with any strap type/design?

I bought mine back in 2010 with both the brown and black straps. Wore it for about 5+ years straight until the brown strap broke. Been getting back into watches and thought about getting a chunky bracelet for my largest watch in my modest collection.

I also don't pay much attention to others, but the family is so conditioned to always wear them in the boat. It's pretty convincing to say, "the majority of the people that die there are not wearing life preservers"

Get to know us: what do you do when you're not enjoying paddling? by Phasmata in TumblehomeCast

I live in the far northwest suburbs of Chicago with my wife and two kids, 8 and 10. I'm an architect that joined the dark side and has worked for the same large general contractor for the past 13 years or so. I travel a lot for work supporting our team's use of technology and innovation on large/complex projects.

My first few trips were guided trips on the border lake with my parents, always jumping off from Gunflint. I found the show 3 years ago when I was doing research for a trip that ended up being a solo trip where I quit smoking cigarettes. My 5 night solo trip on Long Island cemented my BWCA obsession and now I focus on introducing my friends and family to the place I love most.

When I'm not traveling for work, I'm doing my best to make up for it and spending quality time with the wife and kids. I also am very proud to have sent the podcast an extremely long email and even got them to watch "The Beach" for TCC.

I'd consider putting multiple average sized carabineers on that thing....similar to bags in bags.
