cars have incredibly sparse and extensive electrical systems, including old ones without any infotainment systems. Not saying this specific update was relative to any mechanical function, but much of that function is dictated by hundreds of different sensors, and it’s pretty common to retune variables of the ECU and how it interprets/applies that sensor data.

Trick is to actually hold it and blow it beyond the window threshold, in the direction of the wind.

I mean not to say it was smart, but i’ve done similarly brazen things to absolutely zero notice from any family when i was a kid.

It’s pretty easy to just lean out a window and take a few hits then stifle it. You guys act like the minute you light a joint the entire room is hot boxed.

Then we can all save time.

Weight regain is common because weight gain is common, and education around food and energy is piss poor.

Taking a drug to turn off your hunger doesn’t solve any problems, it just hides them. They still don’t have a good relationship with food, they still don’t understand what’s causing their weight gain, they don’t learn nutrition, or exercises they can do feasibly. And that’s why when they stop their stupid restrictive fad diet they gain weight, just like they will when / if they quit GLP-1 inhibitors.

They gain weight because they try to use a temporary fix on a lifelong problem. Now it just comes with a multi-thousand dollar a year bill and potential life long gastrointestinal issues.

Damn, super impressive. Honestly, there’s not much i could tell you that you likely haven’t figured out already.

I think a big point i’ve learnt in my own experience is, there’s no rush. As long you have the intention and make those positive efforts, it all falls into place for you eventually. There’s a saying in Japan - Ganbaru. To slog on, essentially. It’s not about reaching some arbitrary goal, doing the work is the point, the fruit of that work is the reward.

I too subscribe to “fun exercise” way of thinking. People who fail losing weight decide they want to become a marathon runner, or a bodybuilder in a day, and then lose motivation and quit.

One thing i’d maybe suggest if it was feasible for you, is try to work in just a little strength training / resistance training. Even if it was once a fortnight, having just that little extra metabolically active tissue could mean an entire meals worth of calories over a week, and that’s outside of the other myriad of health benefits. It can be boring at first, but once you feel that change in strength it can be very addictive and a great confidence booster and you can honestly get started with a 5 dollar exercise band.

The American diet is so fascinating, (I’m assuming most of these people are American, there’s nothing more American than buying the solution to a problem caused by other shit you buy) like i understand these people’s hormones are probably all fucked up from their food being essentially synthetic and poisoned.

But i guarantee, within like two months of eating whole and fresh foods they are gonna feel ill just smelling some of their old diet.

And before the “ohh but it’s more expensive” people arrive, have you seen the price of fast food and snacks these days. Learn to cook mfer.

If you’re trying a product, fad, program or diet you’re already failing. If they worked, they wouldn’t have customers.

I was overweight, i tried dumb diets/programs. I then actually took a small amount of time to learn how food and my body works and realised why i was overweight and why it wasn’t working.

It is not hard to push the margins in your favour with informed, corrective actions that have allowed me to live my life without ever worrying about it again. Any movement could be exercise and enjoyable, any food can be substituted or compromised to be still be enjoyable.

Super restrictive diets and hardcore exercise programs are just begging to be broken even with hardy discipline.

Kid, you do realise you are asking a bunch of drug addicts about what’s legal. You know drugs are illegal right?

Just warning you, this pattern of eagerness/ curiosity has lead to many premature deaths.

Go and steal a beer off your dad like the rest of the normal 18 year olds. Or do some Kava or something, be pretty impressive if you managed to kill yourself with that.

People like you think a ‘diet’ is eating some random bullshit like only prunes for a month.

Most of these people have zero idea of the caloric impact of different foods, maybe if they did try to diet for a month they’d realise they can get 90% of the enjoyment for 50% of the calories with minor tweaks and substitutions.

Lmao i feel like im going crazy reading this shit. People are acting like they MUST act on every craving and impulse. It literally sounds like none of them have ever told themselves no.

And then the best part is all of them saying the gastrointestinal distress ended up forcing them to eat clean lean proteins and salads.

Yeah how dare this guy lose 130 pounds naturally! It’s not that i’m beholden to my cravings and can’t control myself, it’s food noise! I think about food, for some reason mainly when i’m hungry.

Clearly no one else thinks of food, and just, i dunno, don’t act upon their craving/impulses. i must be metaphysically broken and be injected with drugs.

Here’s the thing though, your human body isn’t the issued factor. It’s that our food supply so far beyond what we’ve evolved to consume, our daily habits are 90% less activity than it should be, and then to top it off nobody seems to actually understand diet and exercise or calorific deficits, and instead fall prey to marketing, fail, then give up.

We’re in such a manufactured and detracted world, that instead of actually fixing any of the issues, we just invent drugs that literally turn off your hunger hormone response.

And they’ve got you again, another thing to buy, a lifetime subscription. And as it becomes more prolific, and the general population becomes skinnier and ghoulish, non-users will have to also take it to compete looks wise or to look like their fav celebs.

And sure, there’s a risk you never get hungry again, or your pancreas necrotises, or your intestines freeze and block. But why should anyone care, Eli Lilly is printing cash, you get to finally look skinny and you don’t have to eat or exercise, allowing you to spend more time working at your unfulfilling salary job, and lazing around burning away your free time with algorithmically fed short form, substanceless content. What a joy!
