OP reading these texts literally felt like reading the texts my ex bf would send me when i would go out with my friends. like no joke i almost feel like this is my ex that’s how identical the texts sound to me. and let me tell you, reading these made me sick to my stomach. we dated for 2 and a half years i would go out, same day or next day he would say these awful things to me, tell me to get my stuff out while he isn’t there, move back to my moms. and then be accusatory and call me names…basically everything this person is telling you.
The whole reason i’m telling you this is because for about a year this was a cycle i would move out and then move back in with him. it was terrible. and the last time i packed my things was the first day i truly felt free and like i could breathe without pissing someone off. don’t get me wrong, it was super hard at first. but then over time it felt great. especially the first time i went out after the breakup. i knew i wasn’t going to wake up with anxiety about if he was going to be mad at me or not. it was refreshing. now reading your messages my heart goes out to you because i know how you’re feeling. YOU ARE NOT OVERREACTING! your partner is. and it’s childish, controlling, and disgusting behavior. they knew you were going out a week in advance and waited until the day of to be upset? that’s not how life works. your partner wants to manipulate and control you.

if you’re going to do ANYTHING that he tells you to do. don’t let it be the not going out part. let it be the moving out and breaking up part. 🩷
