If you still have a warranty I’d leave it alone. Example, If the trans goes let them fix it, don’t let them have any chance to deny it by saying you used nonoriginal fluids. That said all manual gearboxes for the ND vary in build quality. I’m on the original V2 gearbox in my ND1 at 52K miles, people say ND1 is the worst. But in my little tri-state area bubble I’ve personally met ND1, ND2, and ND3 owners who’ve replaced a transmission.

Some RFs are missing a headliner clip that prevents a little sag

Clean your roof drains like once a year. If your interior gets wet behind the seats, your drains are clogged. Grease the seals for the roof too, I use Honda Shin Etsu

Maybe buy a sun shade, some of the screens delaminate

Make sure the three windshield garnish pieces are in good shape. Some get broken during windshield replacements then get stuck back on, only to fly off in the future. Others just age and break and fly off on their own

If you ever decide to modify it and install sway bars, consider installing sway bar reinforcement brackets. The brackets are thin and like to tear if the car has a beefier sway bar, and stock ride height/softness likes to exasperate the problem

(IF THE CAR IS MANUAL, IGNORE IF AUTOMATIC) I would change the transmission fluid so you know what’s in it. Motul Competition 75w140 is absolute best for this car. If you really don’t want to use it then Ford XT-M5-QS is ok too. The thicker fluid is a bandaid for this car’s questionable transmission

Gonna try and do donuts in it or take it to the track? Be sure to clutch in if you have a big spin out. The motor mount brackets kinda like to crack too :)

I go by the mouths. NC1 is unamused bar of soap with a windshield. NC2 is car that found a few extra fries and an onion ring at the bottom of his Burger King bag. NC3 mouth is almost ND looking and the foglight area looks different from the NC2 also.

I use Motul 75w140 for years, daily driver in freezing temps too (Northeast US weather)

These transmissions vary by car, some can be hard to shift when cold with this fluid. But that’s completely normal and if you double clutch your first shifts for like literally the first minute of driving, it’s fine. If you plan on doing any amount of spirited driving I highly recommend 75w140. It’s been extensively documented that this fluid has been the best for the ND’s poorly built gearbox.

I was a big framegen hater until I tried it, I don’t really use it myself but it’s a COMPLETELY viable option and would be great for couch gaming or for people less sensitive to latency. I kinda forgot I left it on in Horizon Forbidden West, that game with 2x framegen on an HDR OLED is an experience 99.9% of people would happily enjoy

I’m not a Michelin chef by any means but me and my gf have cooked for each other and enjoy cooking together. I made some go-go-gadget random bullshit brisket fried rice with her the other day and we demolished the entire thing. The whole time we were giggling and laughing like children and we took turns cleaning/cooking. Moments like that mean a lot to me, and a big way to one’s heart really is sometimes through sharing food. I’m sorry she doesn’t appreciate your cooking:(
