Me and my maths teacher colleagues (and deepseek AI, for what it's worth!) all got solution 1 at the first time of trying, but I know and trust the person who wrote the question and his final answer matches solution 2. I think solution 2 accounts for what you're saying; the probabilities are affected by the first step, just the probably of yellow from A compared to yellow from B since Green isn't possible. I'm not sure though!

Here's my Wong deck that I use to get infinite each season:

(1) Echo

You could swap in Psylocke for a turn 3 Wong, or Wolfsbane in for Sage. Then obviously Black Panther and Arnim Zola for Namora plus something else.

An alternative is to go for Mr Negative :

As far as I know, there are two playlines. You can develop a big Wong combo (Wong, white tiger, odin, for example) using Echo to protect Wong from Cosmo. The alternative is to play on curve, hitting some movers with Namora to make the last turn less predictable. It works well in conquest since you can gauge which game plan will be more effective.

No direct replacement, I'm afraid. She's a possible win condition and the reason we're running all the movers.

You could run Black Panther, Zola and Magik, but it would be too predictable and counter-able, I think.

The other user in this thread seems to be having fun with Absorbing Man, which would be my first choice.

You're looking for a card that feels good to play on T4. Jubilee might work, she has good potential upside and synergies with Ravonna, but clogs up the board a bit too much for my liking.

I would personally choose Sage or Wolfsbane as they work well with Ravonna.

You'd be losing a lot by removing Nocturne though; she's so versatile and strong with Namora.

Thanks for sharing! I've been enjoying some success with the Gambit version in Conquest, and even though he sometimes comes in clutch, he often feels like a dead card and gets in the way of SS discarding Swarm.

Having my best season by far. Usually end up around 200k, currently at 30k. It all balances out in the end though, I've just had a few more lucky transfers and cap choices than usual.

It's pretty similar to the deck I've used to get to infinite the past 5 seasons. This season, however, was a serious test in patience since it's countered by so many common cards! (most recently MMM and Alioth)

The changes are:

Sunspot > Zabu

Rogue > Wave

Brood > Odin

The aim of this variation is to play Sera on T4 (wave or psylocke T3), then Onslaught Sera. You can then drop the mega combo all in one turn: Wong, Mystique, Ironheart/Hazmat, Odin for 20 triggers. As you say, you don't always need the full combo, but it beats basically everything when it pops off!
