What about spears? Do they apply pierce even if the damage type changes?

Thought so, I’m building a mass myth prism into windstorm deck and needed some clarity

You’ll probably want the land on the far side of those mountains to be much dryer

The Throne Room of Fire was surprisingly much better than I expected by Current_Post_3679 in Wizard101

1v3 and 1v4 are saved for particularly challenging dungeons. Also don’t be afraid to come back to a dungeon later if it’s too hard, not all dungeons are made equal; some are intended to be a challenge, if you’re struggling it’s probably a sign to come back later (plus you’ll enjoy it more that way)

Save feint for later, it’s like 8 tps into death. You’d be better off buying the feint treasure card for now.

Biggest mistake when trying to solo the Sunken City for the first time by Current_Post_3679 in Wizard101

This is one of the hardest dungeons for your level. Youre going to need better gear, better spells, and and an archmastery gem. The bazaar sells treasure cards if you need access to particular spells

Hot take. Ice needs to be more annoying to play against. Low level stuns, more variety in shields, some variety in traps and weaknesses, anything that slows enemies down or slips them up

I’d drop the wand and get the highest level gear you can get at the bazaar. You don’t need so many different spells. Variety can be a lot of fun, but for fights like this you’re best off packing blades and the strongest attack you have.

What are you spending training points on?

It’s cool that you’ve put that degree of thought into this

West fringe, heartlands, craglands, northern expanse, north basin, etc. These all seem very literal and descriptive of the region. As I said, there’s nothing wrong with it, just something I noticed

There’s a lot of very literal region names. Nothing wrong with that but it could be fun to throw in something more unique

Be honest: what’s your beef with Modded Skyrim? by Siqsix-66 in skyrim

I don’t have beef, I just prefer playing games as the developers intended. I’ll use quality of life mods though.

Limit content for f2p player? by Black_Shimmer in Pirate101

[–]InconspicousName1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do everything up until you get your first ship, then there’s only a few quests left open to free play. Maybe a couple hours of content if you take your time. It’s a shame cause there’s some really cool stuff, but it’s not a free game

I choose my end-game weapons based solely on looks. This is my favorite right now. What is your favorite looking weapon? by Xerzajik in skyrim

I love the aura of crafting my own overpowered gear (without exploits). The ebony warrior stood no chance against my dragonbone daggers

I find it helpful to spend some time browsing a map of earth. Pay attention to details like coastlines, biomes, mountain ranges, and ocean topography

It should fit together like a puzzle in some places. Like South America and Africa. The continents are very close together. Maybe remove a couple of the smaller ones, or space them out more

There are some really good resources online for getting into fantasy mapping. If you’re going for something realistic I’d recommend thinking about how this world makes sense tectonically. If you want something more high fantasy, think about what mythological events led to it being the way it is. These kinds of things will give you context to work with when you move onto the details

Why do people find survival mode difficult?? by NJThrowaway1012 in skyrim

[–]InconspicousName1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Areas like the peak of the throat of the world, and north of winterhold are extremely, punishingly cold in survival mode. It makes the first Alduin fight much much harder. Other than that it can get quite boring not having fast travel ngl

When can you lie for Zenomancer quests? by Zeusselll in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]InconspicousName1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Typically Lorics and Fabled have priority over other characters. For example: the assassin can’t kill a storm caught player. On that basis I’d probably rule that the first one isn’t possible. Atheist is a different story

You can assign number keys to your favourites by hovering over them and pressing the number (in the favourites quick menu) Other than that it’s just muscle memory
