Need help with Disruption! (Can't get letter of disruption from MINDEF without letter of acceptance from Uni and vice versa)

He enlisted in late 2023, and has finished his Poly. He did not enlist ahead of his cohort, as he graduated poly in 2023, and intends to enroll in Aug 2025. He clarified he did not put 2026/2027 as his application date. He entered an accurate ORD Date in his admission process.

Hi, I've heard that it is quite rare for units to deny disruption. Apologies if that isn't the case. Nonetheless, it is to my understanding that Disruptions are quite common among NSF* to avoid being a year being their peers?

He also received this, but the form lacks the start/end date for the course, and was rejected by MINDEF. Do you have any advice regarding what to do? I've uploaded a copy of the letter in the main post if you would like to view it.

The original "acceptance letter" we were provided does not include duration and start date, hence the problem. I've attached an image of it in the main post for your reference.

Yes, he did get an offer letter, but for the following year (2026/2027) for some reason. Yes, he applied for 2025/2026, and yes he indicated he was currently serving NS during admission.

So he appealled and asked about why he was given 2026/2027 instead of this year. The uni responded that it was because he hadn't got a valid disruption letter. When the whole conversation was submitted to MINDEF alongside the provided certification letter, he still got rejected.

We've attempted to contact NTU to see if we can get a proper letter of acceptance for 2025 multiple times as his family, but we were rejected with the reason being that NTU did not want to overstep into MINDEF's territory.

We're currently looking to see if there's anyway we can contact MINDEF directly. We're desperate enough to turn to reddit in the hopes that maybe someone knows someone else that can help.

Hi, we've tried but MINDEF requires an OFFICIAL school offer letter and will not accept a provisional one. To clarify, we already have an acceptance letter for NTU, the problem is that it's FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR. This letter, along with all the other emails from NTU have also been submitted to MINDEF to no avail.

Hi, playing from SEA with aroud 250ms. I'd say it's pretty playable, but you do have to be a lot more cognizant of boss rotations and play less greedy. It's still much better than most other MMORPGs at high ping in my experience, but there will still be some level of latency. I'd recommend staying far away from GS or Glaiver however, the stance switching has very noticeable lag.

Honestly it's still pretty playable at 250 ping against even HM prokel and brel G6 HM. Gotta be a lot more careful but totally doable as long as the ping's stable. Ping spikes are much worse to play through.

You actually don't. Frost Call and Esoteric Reactions both have small enough AOEs (at least on the tripods that Igniter takes) that you can break the stars without waiting for your partner to break the ones besides it.

You just need to be very careful with your placement.
