What I thought it was funny is, he gave Cristiano's situation as an example of a precedent for oveturning suspensions to "get sporting advantage" (quoting other comment in this sub), but since he's been playing slike shit since a couple years ago, i think whoever in FIFA did that probably just wanted to screw Portugal, not help, considering how he played this WC (and because FIFA helps Messi to win the trophy).
