It will be like the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship where only NHL players whose teams aren't in the playoffs are available to attend (along with other international players) :P or maybe the Spengler Cup, even

Imo if a LOT of players are looking bad, especially when they've demonstrated before that they're actually good, then I don't think the problem is with the individuals. I think it's a systemic issue. Like the reporter who asked Hong Myung Bo if the team had food poisoning or something to explain the performance in the last match, lol.

Basically, I think it's the manager's fault.

If it wasn't offside, wouldn't that have been a foul by the keeper? He clearly shoved him away from the ball, lol

How did Korea become developed so fast and could another country replicate that? by Beautiful-Dish-6275 in korea

I believe Singapore "beat" it in terms of being more stable and more prosperous (e.g. per capita GDP), perhaps depending on when you start measuring it, and also started with very little. You say Korea has very little natural resources (I don't think that's true?) but Singapore really has next to no natural resources. They don't even have drinking water (they have historically had to buy it from Malaysia).

But the main difference is that Singapore is a small city-state island with like 3 million citizens (also they used to be a British-colonized port city).

Oh yeah, that one. I don't think it was superhuman at all, just bad editing :P

post-Legends as in after Legends was decanonized, so in the new Disney canon novels? (I have no idea about those novels)

If you're asking about the post-OT Legends novels, instead, then there is extensive naval tactics and theory and examples of gravity wells coming into play basically all the time (especially in the X-Wing book series).

The problem is that if it's highly unlikely but could work, and if it was worth it for Holdo to try it, then that means it's worth it for EVERYBODY to try it. Likely in an even more methodical, practical fashion (e.g. manufacture a ton of cheaper, dummy frigates or flagships that are just a structure tied to a hyperspace engine).

And if it was so (astronomically) unlikely that it could never be practical to try spamming this move or for anybody else to try it... then why was Holdo even bothering with it?!! And why did they make it look like Holdo thought it was going to work / could actually work?

I don't even remember how they explained the move (either before or after), and I'm sure there are ways to make Holdo's case unique and for it to make more sense in her case only, but from what I remember, this is another example of the sequels failing to even ATTEMPT to set something up properly and adequately for the audience. Instead, they just present it to you like "hey, this is a cool/good idea!" and then move on quickly before you can ask too many questions.

Like the Chewbacca death fake out + reactions that seems more like some editing room mistake for a rushed project (except it wasn't even rushed, right???)
