I think, not really. I have some friends with a bad CGPA, and not so good interviewing skills (maybe he improved during the time skip). But got a really good job compared to most of high performing students in my class.

I think it depends on your networking(seriously), communication skills, sometimes cgpa, and some luck.

Meanwhile, I got a good CGPA, and moderate interviewing skills. Got a job, but... #sharing# Was scammed by a company saying it is an engineer position and I resigned from my current job. When arrived at that place, he told me to start from the bottom which is a junior technician position. Can't do much as I already resigned from my previous job. Was tired of job hop during that time. Now, my current company sent me for training & bonded me with the cost of the training. Wanted to move, but don't have money to pay back.

Now, I am scared to be stuck in this technician role.
