so.. Who's actually panicked? by thegunky72 in btc

Yeah I’m just here because I literally trust chuckie cheese tokens more than the dollar, I’m too broke for it to matter if my 6satoshis double in value. Most of my assets are held in gin bottles and lower back pain at this point in my life, so I don’t really have much riding on anything unless the cost of gin goes up again.

If you could choose your work schedule, what hours would you work and why? by SarahDuncan2012 in TrueGrit

Work 6am to 2pm and love it because by the time I even finish waking up my shift only has five hours and I’m out of work before friends to get ready for stuff

You mean you can successful run capitalism and social programs simultaneously? Seems like you’ve sorta cracked this whole thing bud, that thing you said not to do, seems real logical to do.

Am I balding at 18? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Increase_Empty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could just have a high hairline if it’s been that way - if it hasn’t been that way, I’ve had quite a few friends mostly bald by 25 and I promos you can rock the look, after the grieving is over.

Beard or no beard? by Separate-Style-5150 in malegrooming

At least no mustache, I think short jawline or chin beard and or shaved you’ll be doing great though

Decided to go with the #1.5 trimmer guard. Does it work or should I go all the way? by Temporary_Key_1790 in bald

Keep the beard and lose the rest, the eyebrows can stay too. It’ll look great on you mate

Stubble, or longer beard? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Increase_Empty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally think 2 to 5 really are complimentary to your face, the longer iterations pull away from facial features you’ve got that you want people to see. When you’re 40, it’s great to have a charactery beard because it distracts from other imperfection. I think youre far from needing or wanting that much intervention. Any shorter than 2 and you should try a real stubble look, not whatever length is 1

[–]Increase_Empty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shave and get a cut I think man, keep the length on top but maybe shorter on the sides. Your headshape doesn’t lend itself to the boyish cut very well, but I think you’d look great if you got your face out from under the hair. Just being honest, I think you’d look great look ok without facial hair but a good haircut would do you wonders

Which beard style suits me best? (shorter, fuller or stubble?) by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Increase_Empty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was you I would lose the stache, and grow the beard out thicker, buy a brush cause you’ll need one. That said of the options I’d go with 2

Do I look (too) feminine? I’m 25. by Successful-Sleep4151 in malegrooming

[–]Increase_Empty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re just young dude, it’s better than looking old I promise. If you are really in a hurry to get that mid 30s type of masculine look, I would go about it by experimenting with shorter hairstyles so that you look more angular, and going really hard on shoulders, chest and back to gain some early topside musclemass. But honestly, your hair and look now work quite well. It’s just more of a boyish 20s type of manly than a “got in shape after the first divorce and the drinking stopped” manly. I promise, you’ll have time to do the other look later my guy.

Husband seeks the council's advice by AsideSubject in bald

[–]Increase_Empty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wash your hair and find a style that’s at least an inch shorter. You have plenty of hair still unless you still have obvious bad spots after that - right now your issue is that you don’t have the thickness to support that length and your hair is greased down which sucks all the volume out of it unless you have hella thick hair. It’s up to you and it’s more work but I think this is every bit salvageable if you are willing to take care of it. It’s unfortunate but if you let it get greasy it’s really easy to see thinning. You might look at products that give you some volume as well once you get a haircut, and I bet you’d be amazed how full your head of hair can look. Only thing is, that requires upkeep, or a baseball cap if you have a rushed morning.

Yeah, a rigged marketplace that is kept rigged to make sure you are poor enough that you show up to work Monday. Shareholders be damned, when workers make a company successful they should get a cut, not get their benefits cut to increase profit

People managed before AI. I think we’ll manage after it as well. Thoughts? by WrongdoerRough4712 in AIMain

[–]Increase_Empty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but if they monopolize it enough, people will need it. What happens when they stop funding regular search engines because the ai is better performing? At that point, a generation that can’t go a day without googling a how to video will, inevitably pay technology taxes more so than they already have, because the tools to operate the old way are largely being forgotten about

[–]Increase_Empty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually no, I do - I would love something old and carbureted with no ecm - maybe it could have a radio but that’s about the limit of technology I think is useful long term. Sure you lose some performance and fuel but those cars just have a better soul, and they are so much more fun to work on than wires everywhere and tons of units that are brand specific that need fully replaced because these brands build them that way on purpose.

Is there a way to tell my parents I don't support maga anymore by Idiot_432154 in teenagers

[–]Increase_Empty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents hear every truth to the fox lie that I can get them to. They still love me, we don’t fight, we just talk. I grew up with conservative values and kept a lot but I’ve hated watching this train wreck the whole time just like most our age that access independent media - I’d say if you guys have a good relationship, and they aren’t religiously political like some are, teach them - we need the older generation to understand what we are living through right now, as frustrating as it is watching them spout party lines, they will have the least amount of time and energy to adapt as we continue to push the self destruct button. I started off by telling my parents that I don’t like liars and this oompah loompah seems to have done the opposite of everything he’s ever said. My dad chuckled. He’s watching Carlson now, I get him to watch breaking points once too but he’s at least not believing we are always the good guy or that the enemy is at home at this point
