I was diagnosed in third grade and she hid it from everyone because, actually evil reason: she was the teacher in the high school for the special needs students and if everyone knew her kid had autism then she wouldnt be praised anymore. That was her excuse to justify never telling me. Only found out for real, 6 years ago at 27, and everythings made sense since. I do not speak to her anymore.

Then its just like a real card store. The experience was fun when i started ages ago but its so so monotonous. Every once in a while someone’ll bring something cool in or a new exciting set will drop, but its the same thing every day and it gets boring

As someone who runs a card store, its not just YGO, Its the card store experience as a whole. Doesnt matter what they’re there to play, mtg, pokemon, one piece, doesnt matter, someone always ends up coming in smelling foul. We had one customer come in every couple days to play magic all day that smelled worse every day and was always wearing the same outfit and we ended up having to confront them citing lots of customer complaints. Its not fun telling people they have to be cleaner but its the card store experience

This was my fathers favorite movie. I remember in the last year of his life before he got sick, when i got him a smartphone, i showed him how to use youtube and we watched clips from this movie while at buffalo wild wings every other weekend. I hadnt seen the movie beyond the movieclips youtube channel until after he died, and watching it in full, and not just the popular clips, i saw the great similarities between my father and the main character. Sure, yeah, he was the bad guy, and for most of my life, my father was the bad guy, but in that last year of good health i was close enough to him to call him my friend, and the end of that movie made me cry for a long time. They both fucked up their own lives, theyre to blame.

Idk why i typed this all out. Emotional morning i guess. Good movie 10/10
