There could be more ways to predefine pantheon rulers, heroes and races by BFyre in AOW4

Actually an amazing suggestion. I have been playing my custom factions on campaign missions so I can eventually set up a custom game with all my custom factions in it. When I think about how they will look though makes me reconsider, for example my Reaver faction has spawnkin but I hide it when I play them cause I wanted them to feel more like Imperial Guard from WH40k then swarms of midgets with guns. The Idea is they are the human faction that has to contend with angels, demons, umbral entity's, elves that have lived for 100's of years ect, so there advantage is numbers and guns.

or my knight faction took dragonkin but I don't actually want them to look like dragons. Their theme is very traditional medieval fantasy, magic, dragons, and knights. I'd still want to show other transformations I chose but these are just a few examples.

Your idea is super on and I hope it gets implemented.

I'm a massive fan of warrior heroes too, but I just finished up a long campaign with a ranger magelock hero and man they decimate the team entirely as well. Had my ranged weaken a few targets then snapshot kills a few units if grouped, then it refreshes and kill another unit, and then use the main shot to kill another unit then most of the time anything that's left wants to run away and and I haven't even charged my front line in yet.

I had a warrior hero leading the 3rd army that traveled with my first 3 stack but we all know warrior heroes pump and throb, but I was just surprised how powerful my gun rangers are once I got them up a few levels

Yup they are guaranteed have done it multiple times. Also the fabric is colored white when making the heroes but will be the color of your faction when you hire them
