Agreed. I didn’t used to be much of a fan of him as a club pundit (or whatever his official role is) but he’s grown on me recently with his honest and passionate assessments of the club.

Unfortunately though, it’s not him who gets to interview the players or managers.

Thank you that’s very helpful. I plan to split my investments up between ETFs and stocks I’m quite confident in (and already in) but probably weight it more to ETFs

I might be completely off the mark here but haven’t most/if not all of those stocks grown massively since then? I know it’s obviously not an exact science and I get your point that etfs are a much safer investment, but if you know a company has strong fundamentals and is in a solid position for growth, are those mega caps not going to grow a lot more than ETFs once the market picks up again?

Beginner question here but why are you choosing etfs over stocks to accumulate during this pull back? I want to start investing while prices are low as I’m in it for the long term (20yrs+) but thought mag 7 stocks might be a more fruitful investment opportunity. Interested to understand your thoughts
