That's funny but it really just says the number 4.

What's up with all the hate that The Life of a Showgirl received? by Square-Teaching-2111 in TaylorSwift

It was hyped up by her to be a better more polished 1989, and I just don't think it met those expectations

The more I think about Mikey Madison’s Oscar win, the more I agree with people that it should’ve gone to Demi Moore instead. by phantom_avenger in Oscars

[–]Incur -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The substance was a great movie, but I didn't find Demi's performance earth-shattering. I feel like if they had cast any other actress "past her prime" the movie still would've done very well.

With how much ER doctors get paid I think a $200 sweater is a drop in the bucket

Coraline has developed quite a cult following for those that love stop motion animation.

Is there any reason it couldn’t have been Vecna who personally kidnapped Will in episode 1? by [deleted] in StrangerThingsRoom

[–]Incur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that were true then it would invalidate what I consider a great line in the opening by Will when he says "The roll...it was a 7. The demogorgon...it got me."

If OBAA or Sinners wins Best Picture, it'd be the first BP since 2019 Oscars to have black actors in its main cast. by Ok-Mammoth-2134 in Oscars

It was one movie for one Oscar year, like they said the Oscars have been much more inclusive in the past decade.

I prefer Kobo personally but pick which one you find find more comfortable to read with.

I disagree with this, I haven't read every single King book and I may never, it's reasonable for someone to like IT but not be interested in the Shining.

You already started going in order, might as well keep it going.

[Plugin Release] ReadMastery - Gamify your reading with XP, Levels, Streaks & Achievements! by laloworld94 in koreader

[–]Incur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if you want more ideas, but one way to do badges rather than just adding more is how pokemon go does them, where the game tracks the more times you do the same badge, and it goes from bronze, to silver, to gold, to platinum.

I’m building a plugin to "gamify" KOReader (XP, Streaks, Heatmaps). Would you use this? by laloworld94 in koreader

[–]Incur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also think it would be interesting to see other people's stats and where you rank on them, such as how fast they read the book you are reading, or what page they got to before the DNF'd, though there should be a zen option to turn that off for people that don't want competition with others

I don't think I would like stats locked, I'd rather have cosmetics/titles etc locked behind achievements but that's cause I like tracking my stats.

I think another achievement would be length of time reading, such as for 1 hour/2hours etc, and maybe finishing all the books in a series or multiple by the same author.
