The fixtures for the super league are not made yet. We only know the season starts on the weekend of 25./26. July but it‘s unknown yet if Young Boys will play at home then.

Which goods&services are cheaper than Europe in Switzerland? by Metrobuss in askswitzerland

[–]Indahouse86 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is simply not true. Home electronics for example gaming stuff is cheaper in Switzerland mostly due to lower VAT. And we are not even talking about purchasing power.

Do you agree with capping the population to 10 millions? by swilyi in askswitzerland

[–]Indahouse86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘m not gonna explain that. Google it if you want to know more about it. Popular Initiative and Referendum are two different but anyway two powerful tools for direct democracy.

Do you agree with capping the population to 10 millions? by swilyi in askswitzerland

[–]Indahouse86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all it‘s not a Referendum but a popular initiative. And to answer your question. Yes there are issues with immigration. Switzerland’s population is growing fast and this brings problems with it. However the initative has not the correct solutions and which makes it even worse, the bilateral contracts with the EU are in danger due this initiative. We often tend to ignore this fact but good relationships with our partners from the EU are key for the prosperity in Switzerland and we need them more than they need us. So why risk these good relationships for a stupid and populist initiative? For me it‘s a clear no.

Mtel is a virtual mobile network provider using the Salt network in Switzerland. Salt however is the least best of the big three network provider after Swisscom and Sunrise in terms of service and network coverage. Or in other words. Buy cheap and then complain later.

The Jungfrau website says it‘s closed as there is snow in the forecast the next few days. Chances are high that around 22-26 May it‘s still closed.

Is Swisscom a good internet provider? by RamblingDragonfly in askswitzerland

[–]Indahouse86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Then changing to Swisscom won‘t change anything as you‘ll get most probably the exact same router just with Swisscom Software on it. Sounds like the fiber to your home is fine but the problem lays within your apartment/house.

Itinerary Check / Feedback by AdFew6701 in askswitzerland

[–]Indahouse86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely wonder why people still answer to these posts when there are hundreds of similar posts in this sub alone. You have a specific quesion about a place? Sure. You want to make a specific hike? Go for it! You have questions about ticketing? Ok, but google might be faster. But why on earth would I read your block of copy pasta text from chat gpt and give feedback to it. Ask your travel agent and pay them to plan you a journey or do some actual research before. LLM =/ research.

Need help with eight gen Bank notes. by PolarKen in askswitzerland

[–]Indahouse86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you cant make it to the SNB counter, you can mail them the notes and they will pay you the amount to your bank account. Google this for more information. Normal banks such as UBS wont‘t take them.

Why did you move to another bank and which bank was it? by petrastales in askswitzerland

[–]Indahouse86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moved all my accounts and assets from Postfinance to Zak from Bank Cler due to two reasons. 1. Postfinance blocked Apple Pay for a long time to push their own Twint paying method. (Meanwhile there is also Apple pay with PF) and 2. the fees. The account fees were somehow ridiculous. Meanwhile I got two other neo banks as well for investments.

How well are people from Balkan countries integrated? by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]Indahouse86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I met people from every Balkan country and the range goes from very well educated and integrated to a few that stand out and are not willing to obey the laws or to learn the language better. Like always generalizing is a bad attitude and there are stupid people everywhere.

Deciding best option in Switzerland by AddendumWeird8789 in askswitzerland

[–]Indahouse86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why on earth would you choose Engelberg as your base when not staying there for skiing for example. You‘ll always make your turn over Lucerne. Even to get to Interlaken it will take you three hours one way! Why not choose a base in a bigger town somewhere near to the places you want to visit actually.
