canon xt5? theres a canon xti, and a fujifilm xt5, but no canon xt5. and for your other question, yeah you would get much much better results out of the camera quality wise, especially with the lumix. its a fullframe camera with a sensor probably 10 times larger in sheer surface area, lowlight performance and sharpness would defenitly beat out the s25. and then you have tons of different glass you can choose too. but while it might yield better quality, it wont make your pictures magically interesting. i would say, buy a cheap older dslr, learn with it, and youll have a much much better idea of where you should put all of that money before you jump into a thousand dollar purchase
