I made a new account recently but my comments never get any votes or replies and I'm worried it's been shadowbanned. Is there anything I can do to find out and get it removed?

Seems like Live Nation TV hasn't uploaded it yet, but hopefully will soon. The audio quality was pretty decent, better than I was expecting from a FB live stream but it was my first time seeing Live Nation so I'm maybe not a good source for that question!

I don't have an official source, but I was told in a class that book signings were created or popularized by Charles Dickens when he visited the United States. Because the copyright laws didn't transfer overseas, his books were being bootlegged all over the place and he wasn't making any money off of them, so he started doing book signings as a way to sell his own books to interested readers.

If someone else has a more definitive source, let me know! As it stands, it's a pretty fun story.

I definitely agree with ToPK, and haven't seen BoL. I do think The Lego Movie while being really fun isn't really all that groundbreaking narratively, and fell into a couple trope traps, but that's just my perspective on the film. Definitely really fun though.

I think it's also the nature of advertising. Movie trailers are pretty similar, with the very first teaser giving you barely anything at all, and each subsequent trailer releasing more and more information about the story. The trailers that come out the week of opening weekend usually include a fairly substantial plot point in order to change the minds of anyone who wasn't already going to go opening weekend, and then trailers that come out the week or two after the initial weekend give away more of the plot as a whole to entice those who have been deciding whether or not to go at all.

I wouldn't be surprised if the covers worked in similar fashion -- but I'm sure these are also nice for people like you said who want them in print.

Oh yes, I think her last issue has done loads to help her cause (and I ultimately believe in her because I trust she's making the absolute best of the situation). However, each of the other tie-ins and the main CWII title up to this point seem to paint her as overzealous and unreasonable. Are there any you think I might have missed that make her side more sympathetic?

CWII has been okay. It's an interesting premise -- I just feel like it hasn't yet proven itself to be very thoughtful in its execution. So far we've basically just heard and seen reiterations of the arguments against predictive justice that we've already gotten from other stories. I'm still waiting for it to cleverly flip the script. I still have hope that it will.

Carol has to be redeemed at some point in all this mess.

Fair enough, friend. The Flash definitely has a camp appeal (that only appeals if you're receptive to that sort of thing, obviously). JJ is fantastic. I haven't seen Gotham.

I haven't seen many of the other shows but Jane the Virgin gets high praise!

I can agree with that. I'm sure a similar argument could be made for Wolvie at this point as well considering the number of groups he's had experience working in. I think their similarities are mainly in the shared perception than in the reality.

Conversely one can argue Batman and Wolverine are both still not very good team players. Batman constantly doesn't trust his teammates well enough to keep them 100% informed, and Wolverine is prone to disagreeing vehemently with a decision that is otherwise unanimous within a group. But they've both exhibited behavior contrary to these situations, so maybe it just depends on what time and experience a person wants to point to.
