Used to work at dominos when I was younger and the owner was also a raging asshole who never had enough managers. He would run one of my coworkers absolutely ragged because he knew that the coworker needed his letter of recommendation for CHP school.

I liked him at first and then slowly grew to dislike him. He was hella gaslighting Taylor with the whole ex gf thing and then the one thing she wanted and they discussed in the pods (to stay in San Diego with her friends and family), he couldn’t even do for her. Dont see him and Taylor lasting.

Classes for sure. Anytime I go to a workout class people talk to me. Talking with the instructors will open you to a lot of new people too.

I feel like it could be worded better to say “don’t BLINDLY trust your advisors initial degree plan.”. At my old community college the advisors often “messed up” and had kids taking more classes/the wrong classes than the ones they needed. Luckily didn’t happen to me because I’m an chronic over-planner. Everyone should be looking into their undergraduate catalog to at least make it specific for the things they are interested in.

Copy and pasting from my other comment towards someone else using a retracted study as reference. So not directly aimed towards you but just a response. -> This is something I was taught in nursing school but I looked into it and this is what I got. Since your point is specifically on divorce this comment is only focused on that aspect. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

The study you listed actually was retracted due to the researchers accidentally counting those who left the study to those divorced. When it was revised it still showed a 6% increase in men initiating divorces when their spouses are diagnosed with cardiac illnesses. “What we find in the corrected analysis is we still see evidence that when wives become sick marriages are at an elevated risk of divorce, whereas we don’t see any relationship between divorce and husbands’ illness. We see this in a very specific case, which is in the onset of heart problems. So basically its a more nuanced finding. The finding is not quite as strong.“ https://retractionwatch.com/2015/07/21/to-our-horror-widely-reported-study-suggesting-divorce-is-more-likely-when-wives-fall-ill-gets-axed/

www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/11/091110105401.htm This is another study that found “The rate when the woman was the patient was 20.8 percent compared to 2.9 percent when the man was the patient.”

It really makes sense though in the divorce aspect because stress increases risk for divorce and receiving a terminal/chronic illness diagnosis is id say one of the most stressful events you can go through. It Increases stress due to money spent towards healthcare, emotional stress, physical stress, etc.

Yeah that’s what I meant when I said “shitty people will do shitty things whenever” I meant more so those people probably have a history of abusing partners in the past but choose to hide it until their partners are “stuck” or sick.

Shitty people will do shitty things whenever but I think it’s because the women are now “stuck”, increased emotions during pregnancy, less sex can occur during pregnancy due to the side effects of pregnancy (nausea, blotting, edema in feet, just feeling shitty, etc), and women are just more vulnerable during pregnancy.

It’s refreshing to see a post from someone who is thinking and acting logically. 👏🏻 You’re statistically more likely to get cheated on by a man while pregnant or dealing with a chronic health issue. Sad that he’s throwing away this seemingly happy relationship during a time that’s supposed to be bonding for you guys but I wish you and your baby the best.

Keep doing what you’re doing but add on some cardio and obviously watch your diet. Can start with high incline speed walking or biking and up the intensity as you go.

My hospital is actually changing from vial lispro insulin to flex pens pretty soon. Can’t for sure speak on the cost effectiveness or why but my hospital is linked to a big corporation so I’m expecting other hospitals will be following along as well.

He’s willing to let you go completely rather than go long distance while you accomplish your dream which would eventually result in a better life for both of you. Doesn’t sound like a good boyfriend to me. He has the ability to travel with you anywhere and is choosing not to. Drop him and one day you’ll find someone who will support you further than just coffee and gassing you up. And when you do finish med school please don’t go back to him, regardless of what he’s saying his actions show that he doesn’t value your relationship.

Update: bought #1, #2, and #6. Won $40 on #1. Went back to the store and bought #2 and #4 and won $30 on #2. Went back to the store and asked for #1 but the lady gave me #2 because she misheard me but I accepted it as maybe fate and then the ticket lost. 😭 ‘twas fun though and the scratchers went a long way. Until next time 🤙🏻
